Dear Yuletide Writer,

Hello, and thank you for writing for me! Have fun and I'm sure I will too.

This year I am honestly looking for some happy fic. It has been an awful mess both personally and politically, so happy endings and fluff are very much welcome. That said, if you want to write a darker story, I will probably enjoy that too? Just not too heavy on the angst.

Squicks: Gore, vore, incest, watersports, mpreg

Likes: Worldbuilding, aus, crossovers, character developement.

Just an update that I am at work! Power was out at home, but otherwise all is well.

Late as usual, but hopefully this will get written before we get matched! ^^;

So. Family situation got dramatically worse, and it turns out that I'm expected to be the one moving. So hopefully I'll have some successful apartment hunting on my vacation?

Hello Purimgifter! Thank you in advance for the loveliness, and I hope you have a wonderful time writing/making pretty things for me. <3

Some general likes: In character interactions, fluff where it is believable, happy endings and alternative universes of all sorts.

General dislikes: Mpreg, A/B/O dynamics, anything that belongs in the toilet and not the bedroom?

If this is enough, go forth and have fun! If you would like more details, they are under the cut.

this is a clever disguise it is )

Hello Chocolatier!

And thank you in advance for the lovely fic. :) Whatever we get matched on, have fun! And I'm sure I will like it.

General Likes: Fluff! Alternate universes, of both the 'what if one thing happened differently' and the 'so now they're all pokemon trainers!' varities. (Especially coffee shop aus - I have a weakness. -.-) Happy endings, except in cases where it would be wildly impossible like. Mortal enemies skipping off into the sunset. >> Dark fic, if that's where the story goes, is also wonderful. It depends on the tone of the universe, so do whatever feels right for you and the story.

General dislikes: Mpreg, toilet sports, anything really explicit. ABO dynamics. That's pretty much it.

On to requests! )

Hello! )

I did a thing! And am possibly doing another thing tomorrow or on the 28th? And I don't want to say what it is and maybe jinx it. But wish me luck please? ^^;;

Okay ugh. Not kicking this bug. Day off goals:

= death of germs?! I can only hope. D:

Dear Fic Corner Scribbler,

So, as it seems like I will never kick this bug and get a proper letter written, I guess I will direct you to past years' Yuletide letters for an idea of general likes and dislikes? But really what I'd like this year is just some fluffy slice of life sort of fic.

Thank you so much, and have fun writing! :)

Dear Yuletide Author,

First of all, you clearly have excellent taste, no matter which of these fandoms we matched on. :) Have fun writing, and remember that optional details are optional - don't let any of my details stop you from having fun and getting the story written! (With the exception of squicks of course. ^^; )

So my internet is out and looks like it will be until late Friday. If anyone reading this could pass it on to anyone else who wants to know? Hopefully be able to see everyone then, otherwise doing fine. :)

Brain. I did not need to wake up convinced that I suck and everyone secretly hates me and just isn't saying so. Stoppit brain. :/

There are many, many things I could be updating about. While I should be asleep because it is an hour until midnight here and I have the opening shift tomorrow. I could perhaps do a general catching up thing or ramble sleepily or list the things I need to do.

Or the things I have done.

Perhaps one of those entries will happen soon! :)

But the point of this entry, before I drag my butt to bed like a grownup, is this:

And all is right with the world. :D

So the holidays have been eating me alive. Whooo, surprising. But anyway!

I got this awesome Yuletide story, which made me full of squee: http://archiveofourown.org/works/1086853

You shall all now go read, whether familiar with Yoroiden Samurai Troopers or not! That is totally a thing I can dictate. ;)

Dear Yuletide Writer,

Hello! Make yourself comfortable, and know that you are awesome, first of all. For we share at least one of the following tiny fandoms! Have fun writing it, and I will enjoy reading. <3

In case you are an author who doesn’t like too much detail, here is a brief summary -

I like : In-character behavior! Solving mysteries, alternate realities of all shapes and sizes, manipulation and mind-fucking. I like when the good guys, out of the goodness of their hearts, do something genuinely wrong and don’t realize, and seeing what happens when they find out. I like my bad guys cheerful, and I like when they win.

I dislike - Rape, though skirting the line with non-con is okay - see : mind-fucking. I'm a lot more interested in the psychological effects than physical violence, though. Mpreg is really not my thing. Also really explicit sex, vore and anything that belongs in the bathroom - not interested.

Onward to more detailed stuffs!

I mean, I could be posting about my life and trying to get my act together and on-going car annoyances, but. Don't you want to go vote on awesomeness instead? :D

Hello, fic_corner writer! First may I say that you are awesome, and I hope you have as much fun writing for me as I am sure I'll have reading. :)

Expanding a bit on the mini-prompts!

Foxy - Helen V. Griffith : What I love about this book is mostly the relationship between Jeff and Foxy, though the way Amber changes is also interesting. I love how caring Jeff is, and how clearly he sees himself as The Responsible One. I'd like to see how that matures as he gets older, even if it's only by a year or so.

Austin & Murry-O'Keefe Families - Madeleine L'Engle : Mostly I'm interested in the setting (roughly, of course) of the first three books. One thing that I really loved about those, and especially the last two, is how people who seem really horrible can turn out to be capable of profound acts of love and self-sacrifice.

The Boxcar Children - Gertrude Chandler Warner : These books were responsible for me looking for places in the woods where one might live in hiding and survive off blueberries and milk. ;) I really love the self-sufficiency of the kids, their determination to do for themselves and not have things handed to them. Handled the wrong way, I think it could get preachy, but the original author never came off that way, at least to me.

Bunnicula - James Howe: Oh the adorable ~evil~ bunny (don't mind the cat foaming at the mouth over there. ;p ) I really adore Chester's fits of imagination, though, and Harold's long-suffering amiability about it all while still standing up to him on important points, like not killing the bunny! I really do want to see how Bunnicula could contribute to mystery-solving, and why he never speaks, or if it's possible he *is* speaking and they're just deaf to Rabbit.

Things that I like in general (with the nature of this challenge and my requests in mind): Happy endings! People being rational about mysteries instead of freaking out - with at least one obvious exception, though Chester certainly thinks he's rational. People being in character, of course. Crossovers, though I'm not sure any of these would really work in crossoverish settings, with the exception of the L'Engle books.

But mostly have fun! :)

So, this has been left in the lurch long enough. :/

But my goal of reading 100 books this year is going well so far? Even if a lot of them right now are kid's books.
