You know, it would be one thing for Dad to say there's a virus on the computer that McAfee can't seem to get rid of...
...if I hadn't told him back when this thing started that there had been a warning up on McAfee's site about one that cripples virus detection software...
...and if I didn't know that as soon as I try to bring this up again, he will revert to 'pat on the head, silly thing doesn't understand that's not the problem' mode. Of course, he's too intelligent to allow that to show, so I won't understand that's what he's doing, either.
Or he's too stupid to realize how insulting it actually is.
Now I'm going to have to tell him that I want System Restore used, and he will of course interrupt me to tell me that I would need to save everything important on the computer, before I am able to say that I mean to buy disks for exactly that at work tonight.
Bastard.
ETA: And I would be more sympathetic to him and his aggravation in dealing with Grandpa if I didn't feel it were some kind of karmic retribution.
