spoke | (no subject)

I go to work, everything is running along fairly normally.

I come home, the phone has been turned off. Annoying but not major, as I'll be able to get online when I get up, I think.

Only I wasn't. I found out my cat Little One has been killed by dogs, leaving the kittens without a mom. The tiniest one has been adopted - the others are on solid food already.

And I have been guilt-tripped into going to visit my Mom sometime tomorrow. I have at least insisted on going early, since I know I'll need some time to recuperate. >.<

At least the phone came back on, maybe half an hour ago?

My little brother is in the kitchen, cooking! O.o

...I'm beginning to think I may be in a mild state of shock? Too much all at once, but none of it really huge except Little One.

Oh. We've named the kitten (currently attacking my leg) Dusky.
