So, I am not dead yet! Although the past few days I've felt like I might be - my blood pressure was running high, with all the general ickyness that causes.
It turns out? I was having what the doctor's assistant says was 'not quite an allergic reaction, but very bad' to something in my antibiotic. So now I'm on a new one, the warnings for which include:
The usual dizziness warning, meh. (Though this one actually makes me a tiny bit dizzy after I take it. )
No iron until 2 hours after taking! (I have yet to find a breakfast solution, as Cheerios are full of iron and apparently bread has some too! I did not know this until I was carefully checking my breakfast options. :/ )
No sunlight, seriously! Not even artificial sunlight! (...um, I hope lightbulbs don't count for that - I may try and call the pharmacy tonight when I wake up, see if they know. It shouldn't though, I think it must mean sunlamps and tanning beds and things meant to imitate the sun rather than replace it. But I was kind of inspired by a comment-fic written for me as to how to deal with my drive home in the sunlight. XD Thanks, Syvia! ♥ )
In extra large letters at which I laughed: No breastfeeding EVER. (No kids and no intentions of having them, so :P )
And finally: Drink lots of water. (Also not a problem!)
But after I started this? My blood pressure dropped. Right back down into a high of like 127/70's to a low of actual normal readings. High normal sometimes, but still. I feel much, much better.
Also in news of awesome: my water has stayed working! I'm still not used to not running into the garage to plug the thing in, but I'll get there. :)
And now to bed, before the deadly sun rises high enough to reach into the house. Sheesh.

:/ I'm glad they fixed the problem, and I know how much that sucks. Sometimes the doctors don't pay attention to allergic reactions- or they just don't know.
*huuuuuuuuuug*

Exactly, they didn't know. They couldn't have known, because my answer to the allergy question has always been none. Next time I see her, I'm going to have to ask what this is and if I'm likely to run into it again - although I'm pretty sure she's updated my information to include it. I want to know what that was.
*returns hug* Thank you. ^_^

Hee... um. :/ Do you remember where that fic was? XD I'd like to read it again, but I'm going 'bzuh?' about the location.
