An update! Which hopefully I will do more frequently and they will just be regular journal entries.
So, I did not end up going to the station I'd originally been going to, because frankly of mental health issues and management higher up the chain being dragged into it, and. A lot of ugliness I don't really want to dwell on.
Things are going pretty good right now - slightly worried about my hours possibly going down at work, I am fine with them where they're at right now and would like to get the credit card paid off. Otherwise the (new) new place is working out alright.
I also learned the new guy who basically took my spot at the Lakeshore station cannot seem to show up on time and is pissing everyone off. It may be wrong of me to hope he ends up being moved (and I'm not entirely sure how that would work in a unionized setting, I really need to learn more about this stuff) but I am hoping so anyway. Opening at a post office... there is no backup, things just get backed up. In Lakeshore's case, by an entire hour while the trucks wait and the next station they need to drop off at is also waiting, etc. He seemed a nice enough guy, but dammit.
Also, that everyone misses me (which I'd already heard but is nice to hear again) and even the truck drivers have been asking where I am, on account of the above. (Or also possibly because some of them like me and know I'm a good worker, which is something I seem to have trouble believing? Sigh.) But definitely also the above, because nobody wants to sit in a truck for a damn hour waiting for someone with keys to show up.
Meanwhile, starting to get some interest in art and writing again, and playing regular video games instead of just the cellphone ones - I'd kind of forgotten somehow the satisfaction of actually finishing a story? ^^; In as much as Kingdom Hearts is ever finished, daaaamit Nomura. XD (Never change. Just, cough up some damn answers while. Also. Not changing. Yus.)
Looking forward the remake of FF12 that comes out in a few days, working on Let's Go and after those I really need to get Breath of the Wild. And that big FF that I missed, with the boys on a road trip. I remember looking at the gameplay and thinking it was so cool, literal years ago.
