But my goal of reading 100 books this year is going well so far? Even if a lot of them right now are kid's books.
Oh. Wow. It seems that Team Jerkass split into two groups? N just wants to help pokemon! And they’re keeping the creepy white crusader outfits. >>
And this is discovered by listening to the guy in black giving the one in white a very cliché villainy speech. “Join usssss. The people who mock you now will grovel at your feet!” Um. Yeah, I was there 2 years ago and I don’t recall much groveling. :p
And one of the former Sages is here. Aaand yeah. They’re ‘taking care of’ the stolen pokemon. Which had better include trying to find the trainers they were taken from. >:/
Hugh’s Not Happy. He’s going to go do moar training!
And Rood gives me a Zorua. N’s Zorua. Awesome! :D
Oooh, apparently just the ones whose trainers they couldn’t find. That’s better. <3
Oh N. He was abandoned because he was freaking people out with his psychic abilities and then Ghetsis got him. And the girls were orphans too, and he just kidnapped everyone and fucked up everybody. >:(

Meanwhile, Driftveil has really grown - loads of hotels for the Pokemon World Tournament! All green and glassy and modern.
Claaaaay. Still the best Gym Leader! “If all you do is pursue what you think is right, you might end up rejecting all thoughts and opinions other than your own. That’s mighty dangerous.”
Ooooi. Hugh’s just foaming at the mouth to go join the Tournament and toughen up. Screw you, man, my team needs a Pokemon Center trip. D:
And then a salon trip for hurt feelings from all the fainting. :(
Wow Join Avenue is addictive. I just want to hang out in my virtual mall and shop forever. I have a pretty blue ceiling I picked it myself! :D

Pokemon World Tournament! In the fancypants building Clay had built for it. Which he is very proud of!
Also he summoned Cheren to come compete in the tournament. Just because he, as a senior Gym Leader, can apparently do this thing. :p
Well, no, he wants Cheren to show us the meaning of Pokemon battles. Which I’m pretty sure is for me and my pokemons to kick the other person’s butt and have fun doing it. >:)
Well. We have a roaring audience. This is all very dramatic!
Hugh: Clay sure likes things loud and flashy, doesn’t he? Well, whatever.... It’s time to go all out! XD
Awww. Hugh says my pokemons look like they’re having fun battling. Darn right they are! :D

See, the problem with a team of Steel and Psychic is all you really need is a nicely leveled Krokorok to take it out. Quagmire for the win! \o/

Skyla’s Gym has improved! It’s a giant windtunnel maze where you have to take shelter from the gusts. I am pleasantly reminded of Chrono Trigger! :D
Battle wasn’t that hard, either, between my lovely lampost the Ampharos and Toshiotada the Emboar. Mwahaha! >:D

Okay. I must begrudgingly award Team Jerkass about 1000 cool points for the invention of an actual freaking airship. :D !!!

And of course they’re here to steal a rare and presumably valuable/powerful/shiny artifact. Called DNA splicers.

Ooooh, pretty. Like something in an aquarium, except instead of tiny tanks the pokemon are roaming freeee! \o/ Also, hilariously, one of my fellow tourists suggests the tunnel is really for the pokemon to sight-see us. Which it might be! ;)
Wow. I like the new gym leader, he’s very laid back but kickass. Also I want to steal his gym, it is the prettiest! You move around via solving floating lilypad puzzle. <3
Actually, let’s just all move to Himulai. Gorgeous. Even though I hate heat and it screams tropical paradise. ...although I’m not sure it’s in the right place to be tropical. Mediterranean, maybe? idk!
