For how well it started out, rotten day.

Tired and about ready to crash, yet here I sit downloading music again.

The basic idea being that the armors, all the armors, including Talpa orignallly, the other demon lords, all of it - was forged not physically but spiritually. I mean, they die and go to the youjakai, they have bodies how? Why aren't they all spirits or something...

So it occurs to me... the different forms and everything... it's something in the passage, that they forge them coming into the youjakai. So - but most of them did unconsciouly/lack the energy or skill to repeat it? Hence all the generic types, sort of a default or a mass-produced sword.

Arago's armor would have been a special case - I think either he didn't do it himself, or it was altered after the fact. Hence his having a solid form in the youjakai, but not the ningenkai until he's absorbed the MaSho. Drawing back some of the energy that Kaos took out of it.

When he reforged it into the nine yoroi. Which makes him a better or at least much more creative smith that the first one, ha!

And dammit I'm falling asleep again. And I have to be up to go the library today... I will work on this more another day or possibly tonight when I am up. :/

[livejournal.com profile] shusu, the thing about Ryo? Here under Family. Everything else was me tangenting off implications of the above unfinished mess

*hugs*

Hah, so Byakuen has Kaos-clan scent. Good boy.
No wonder I never felt the need to pair Kayura and Ryo. Also gives that brief moment in the last episode special poignancy.

(You have a sisssteerrrrrr....)

I am *highly* confused by the yoroi theory. Because they aren't dead when they entered the youjakai; Arago forged his armor first, then Kaos reforged it, purified it, etc.; and Arago didn't have a physical form in the youjakai *either*. He was beaten that badly in the last conflict 100s of years ago, then stole some power during the season one finale to materialize more, then absorbed the ankoku priests' tower o' pain to go Godzilla.

But see, that creates problems with the timeline? If it goes:

Arago gets armor, attempts to conquer world, gets beat down by Kaos
Retreats to youjakai to solidfy his hold there - without a body?
And the fight with Kenbukyo, that I'd been thinking happens when he's properly conquering them, he does have a body - he's just not making with any really flashy energy.

Argh you don't have to be solid in the Youjakai! He wants to be solid in the Ningen!

It is said that Arago was actually the spirit of an evil man who used black magic to further his goals after death. His evil led his spirit to the Youjakai where he set about conquering it. His opponents were either killed or served under him, willingly or otherwise.

The armor that he left behind after his first defeat by Kaos was the link that enabled Arago to maintain a physical form in the Ningenkai. That was why he needed to absorb the yorois' power to create his body. The only other way to maintain tangible form is if the two worlds, Demon and Earth, were joined which was exactly what Arago was doing during the second story arc.
