Guess who's an erratic updater? I am! It is me. :p

So Not terribly enthusiastic about making a list of goals for the year, except this one: read 100 books. I keep a list of books read, though I'm not sure last year's is accurate, but there's still a trend of me reading less. Also, I am a bit of a magpie about magazines and I have way too many that I haven't even read.

Debating: whether I should count the magazines in with the books.

Meanwhile, I've started something I've been meaning to do for awhile - major replaying of games, both what I've got and as I replace things. Currently up to Day 4 of Parasite Eve. I'd forgotten how lovely this is, just all kinds of atmospheric and still creepy in spite of the dated graphics - probably because they got the atmosphere down. Moments like Aya climbing into the carriage for her ride of murderous conversation with Eve? I love imaging how that feels. *shudder*

A lit bit stuck still on my writing, but working on it - and I didn't get anything done this weekend, either. But I am working on getting my sleep schedule under control too, so hopefully I'll get back into having 'mornings' before I head into work.

Book progress so far: 3/100

Nicholas St. North and the Battle of the Nightmare King
E. Aster Bunnymund and the Warrior Eggs at the Earth's Core
Toothiana, Queen of the Tooth Fairy Armies

All by William Joyce, and all very awesome. May have to squee later, entirely too sleepy now. Goodnight!

Sleepy and tired and frustrated with my computer - the ram has been corrupted and it's running on super-low memory and things crash without warning. >.<

But hopefully I only have 3 more days to deal with this - paycheck coming up, and I'm pretty sure if I can't cover it out of that I'll take more out of savings anyway. This is fairly horrible, and has me worried about Yuletide and the kh_drabble exchange. -.-

I just. Suddenly feel the need to rant, since I keep seeing this horrible thing where people reference the scene in which Lexaeus comes up with the idea to use Riku to counter Sora, and credit Zexion for the idea.

*hissss* Lexaeus's idea, dammit! Just because he did not say it, just because he trailed off and let Zexion follow his lead, does not mean Zexion thought of it! (Assume multiple exclamation marks here.)

Also, while I am on the subject and rather having fun venting (it may seem that I am angry here, but more amused outrage) Zexion isn't as smart as people think he is! Ooooh, he's intellectual. You have to give him that. But it's book smart and people dumb to a certain extent, most obvious in the scene where he decides that the thing to do is stick Vexen with the job of dealing with Marluxia.

Oh yes. Let's take the most volatile personality of our little trio and give him the politically sensitive job of dealing with someone whom he hates with a loathing almost beyond even our wordy mcword powers to describe! It'll be sadistically hilarious, which is just what we need when we're busy trying to figure out what's going on and stay alive! :D

Stupid stupid stupid, I don't care how intelligently he phrased it! >.<

I don't know, to me it seems painfully obvious that Even had entirely too much to do with raising Ienzo. It's the way they both look at people, including each other, as lab rats to be experimented on. :P
