spokeSo I come home to the usual, 'I'm staaarving! Feedmefeedme!' routine from the Dusky-cat, wherein she mews and runs between her bowl and wherever I am until there's food.
Except there is a problem. Food bowl? Gone. Water bowl, litter box - also gone.
So I stare and blink for a minute before putting my things down, while she jumps between the spot where her bowl used to be and the table. Then we go searching through the house, while I try to figure out where my brother moved her things to! x.x I appreciate the vaccuming job and everything, but he could have left a note? << Panicky Dusky with her increasingly upset meows following me and getting underfoot, here!
Athough I need to remember to tell him, it's nice how he did set it up, in a different room instead of right when you come in. And with some plastic around her litter box. x.x
As soon as I found it, we came up against the problem of cats being creatures of habit. Teh poor, poor Dusky-kitteh, we have altered her routine. :x It was kind of funny watching her wrap mind around this boggling concept: My food is here now, not there. @.@
XD Kind of nothing, I died. I finally coax into the room with her food, I think she is happily settled in munching and walk out. She doesn't just follow me, she goes straight into the routine of running to where she expects her food to be. << Despite the already eating bit. XD And I pick her up and bring her back to the food. >> And she follows me out again. And again. And a third time!! >.<
And this time she goes back to circling around the tabletop and making with the 'feed me' mews. Apparently, in her attempt to understand, she decided I hadn't gotten her food yet? All I can think of, anyway. I just gave up. And mocked her for being a dumb, dumb cat once I had my breath back.
Eh, I'll see if it happens again when I get up. ^^
ETA: Only took her two tries to get it the second time? :P
