Why I am downloading music that is taking over am hour per song and that I won't be able to listen to until I have a new computer, I do not know. But, I am anyways.

I need to listen to more music. *nods*

Whether or not it will be of any interest, I do not know, but - Shusu?

Every so often, something in my own head will surprise me - like I had assumed that my library didn't have any of the Dark is Rising books.

And I was standing in line to ask about them when I vaugely remembered someone on my flist, sometime last year, talking about libraries - and for some reason it made me think - what if i've been looking in the wrong place?

And so I went into the children's section. And lo, I have two books from this series! *bounces*

Why do people seperate kids' from adult fantasy books, unless there's, oh, actual porn in the adult one? O.o Because a lot of specifically written for adults fantasy seems to suffer from a lack thereof, because everything has to be justified to adults?

Whereas, the 'kids' books just assume that the kid will just accept that there's magic involved. What, adult brains are too rigid to do this?

*thinks about the people she deals with on a daily basis whose brains are too rigid to understand the concept of 'light-as-symbol' and who therefore simply must have a person tell them whether the lane is open or not* Nevermind.

Also this thought reminds me that people who cannot understand lights should not be allowed to drive, but then, I am very sleepy-strange and probably 'should not be allowed' on this computer.
