Getting dragged up to work on a day off is not exactly my idea of fun. But it was Dad, and he wanted to use my discount to buy a computer for the girlfriend, because the one she and her kids had is broken. Actually had a nice time talking to him, to-and-from. He starts moving stuff into their place this weekend (!) and was telling about ...things, with them. And things we're going to have to do and he's going to have to show me once I'm over there.

I learned he has a converter for turning VHS tapes to DVD. Which he will be letting me use once he's done converting his tapes. :O

... :D omg I want that thing like, right now. Now-right-now thank you. Of course there is nothing I can do but wait, since it converts at speed-of-tape - that is, the tape is 2 hours, it will take 2 hours turning it into a DVD. I foresee much leaving the thing running in the future. But that will be so utterly, utterly cool.

Then we got to talking about Dragonball Z. He noticed Piccolo attempting to blow up the moon last night, but I had to tell him it was coming from Goku's old spacepod. Nursery-pod? Seed'o'doom, or "Here, have a baby - yoink! Now you dieeee!"

...I want to make coffee, and I want to go to sleep, and somehow I have this feeling neither of these constitutes a good idea.
