You are the Mallorn, the golden tree of Lothlorien.
The mallorn was a great and beautiful tree. Its
bark was smooth and silver-grey. The leaves of
the mallorn turned golden in autumn. The golden
leaves remained on the tree through the winter
and fell to cover the ground in the spring.
Then new leaves sprouted - green on top and
silver underneath - and golden flowers bloomed
on the branches. They never died, a symbol of
eternity. The Fellowship was given lembas
wrapped in mallorn-leaves, and Galadriel gave
Sam Gamgee a box of soil that contain a silver
mallorn nut. When he returned to the Shire
after the War of the Ring, Sam planted the nut
in the Party Field where the Party Tree had
once stood. It was the most beautiful tree in
all of Middle Earth. You are strong and
enduring. You can weather any storm.

What Plant of Middle Earth are you?

I completely cheated on this. Yup. Dirty rotten cheater, me! *sings* And I don't care!

Ever have a really incredibly cool secret that you wanted to go on and on about only you couldn't because that would ruin the surprise? That is me now. :x

But! I can babble in general terms of the travails of procuring the Most Wonderful Surprise, yes? Alright then! >.> Because after receiving the other half of the money on a Saturday and too late for me to go to the bank :/ I had to wait torturously through Sunday. o.o And then Monday came, and I got off work and headed straight for the bank! :D
Then a detour on the way home to buy my Christmas tree (yay I have a real Christmas tree! 'Tis pine even!) and getting online for the purchasing of the Most Wonderful Surprise.

None left online. :(

But! Not to be stopped, I headed out to the store at which I worked, and got one of the three left. *minor heart attack on noticing there were only three left* ^__^

Then I struggled it into my car! o.o;; Which I almost didn't pull off. Then! Off to the post office!

...omg, lookit the line. It is so incredibly late now. omg. ...but!! The Most Wonderful Surprise must be shipped! So I bravely waited my turn in the ins and outs of the teenytiny parking lot (couldn't take the 'park on the side of the road' option some people did, due to the size of item) and made my way into the line. Talked to a friendly older gentleman who was scooting through the line asking questions and helping people out with things, and he said he'd help me get it out.

And then I got to my turn in line, and the individual *hiss* behind the counter told me I needed to go out into the lobby and wait at a side door for help with bringing it in. >:/ Well, I couldn't find any side door, and frankly she had a little bit of an attitude, and that sort of thing tends to trigger me getting depressed. x.x But not today! Today I pulled myself out of it, and turned around and went back in, and got the friendly guy and told him what had happened, and he said no I didn't need to do that, and came out and helped me. ^_^

He wasn't sure they'd be able to ship the Most Wonderful Surprise, it being such a large item, but we discussed my other option of going to UPS *insert desperate panic here, as this is me and I've never been there before and it needs to be shipped today o.o;;; * and ended up taking it in to at least get weighed.

Back into the line I go, and joy! I did not get that person *hiss* again, but a friendly if slightly confused lady. >.> And there is this guy who's been there and somehow or another has ended up handling almost all of my shipping, and he came over and helped her out, and there was a brief discussion of the Most Wonderful Surprise and why it was being shipped, and he was sympathetic and polite. So it was all good!

And shipping completed, I came home to crash. Crash, I say. I mean, 1:37 I think when I got out of there? With my being a nightshift worker and all, it's like - I didn't get to bed until past midnight. ....And didn't get up until late, yet earlier than I meant to. ^^ *yawning still*

At least I have put up the tree, although not decorated yet - and as expected, the Dusky kitty went nuts. Just having her run back and forth around the tree like she was on catnip made that worth it. ^_^

Lesse, what else... pink eye seems to be cleared up, so apparently I didn't have a severe case of that or anything. x.x;;

Oh! And Postal employees rock. Even the annoying ones, who are doubtless stressed out. Those lines were like being at work. ^_^ Postal employees definitely rock. (And us stuck-at-Wal-Mart types aren't so bad, either! ^.^ )
