8:00 Enter Pepboys to have car fixed.

Waiting forever and ever and getting more than halfway through the last Otherland book. I have maybe a fourth left.

12:00 and I have gotten home, fairly exhausted and frustrated. But. They had her in there for all that time and couldn't hear a thing wrong with her, and the customer service manager who came in maybe halfway through this and seemed to be pushing people to get a move on didn't charge me anything. Seriously thought I would have to pay at least labor charges or something.

This might have something to do with me being clearly exhausted and annoyed, and I was trying not to be grouchy or anything even though there's little tired voice with a pitchfork saying something about getting in people's faces and being one of those customers.

The ones I politely try to put off and get a csm or manager-type for, because I'm not paid to deal with Seriously Ticked Off, I really am not.

Except I hate those people, so. I didn't yell or make a jerk of myself inspite of the tired and the frustrated and the thinking that the manager was looking harried because his people weren't on the ball?

Meh. Pretty much amounts to: Car not broken.(far as they could tell, since it wouldn't not-start) Spent no money, had a nice chat with the manager-type explaining that they didn't want to go messing with things when they weren't sure what they were doing? Goodie for me.

Utterly impacted. Flyin' now.

I have been awake for perhaps half an hour.

There is no coffee in this house.

This is an emergency. If I don't make it back from the incredibly dangerous task of driving without coffee, at least someone will know what's happened. o.o

Okay, and I'm also wondering what's wrong with me, because how did I forget to buy coffee. I only drink more of the stuff than I eat real food, it seems like. >>;

ETA: Coffee has been achieved! After stopping at work to get some regular coffee for making later on, there was an attempt at Starbuck's - arrived too late. Clearly I should've gone after the coffee first, then... the coffee.

But I stopped at a Gate and they had a frozen coffee maker, so I tried that! And despite the horrible grinding noise it made the first time, and myself and the employees gathered around thinking it was busted - nope! A few minutes later it was able to give me frozen, caramel flavored, milkshake like coffee. And that is good enough. :)
