spoke: spider with a pen on a book (bakurae)
If there's anything I dislike more than sudden mood swings, it would have to be idiots at work aggravating sudden moodswings.

But I home now, and free for a whole glorious weekend, and I have Kingdom Hearts II finally. finally finally finally

I haven't even opened it yet. I just sat and drooled over the shinyness. And the fact ( I typed jack instead of fact, it's too late for my brain) that Captain Jack Sparrow is on it, too.

And along with the mild violence warning is one about alcohol. You know what that means, right? Right?!

RUM! Why has the rum gone! :(

Squee! XD

But so tired I can't see straight and I know I won't sleep if I try to play now and I won't enjoy it for not thinking clearly and yet I sit here alternating between squee and inexplicably(ha)depressed. Instead of crashing.

Oh, and I feel compelled to squee over Sherlock Holmes which I have been re-reading this week. Almost to the end of the first of the Collected Works, and it strikes me that really, Holmes is a sometimes-selfish, immature little prima donna. (A lot of the time. And he gets cranky if he thinks Watson isn't paying attention or finds his own work more interesting/important, omg XD) And Watson is by far the more adult character of the two. Actually grows over the course of the story, whereas Holmes notsomuch. :P

The bits where Watson is crossing his fingers that Holmes will find a match and they can both be happily married kill me, too. Because he wouldn't stoop to outright match-making (possibly from the knowledge that Holmes would bite his head off), but he is so very one of those people who fall in love and think that everyone must follow suit! :P
