I'm alive! No, really. Just being eaten by RL on one hand and my Yuletide on the other. Yet another case of "I signed up to write what?! for Yuletide?!"
I swear when I put this fandom on the list it seemed totally do-able, and since I started trying it is all flail. Also I have discovered that I hate one of the main characters with a passion like burning. Thankfully not my assigned character. Um. ^^;
On the other (3rd?) hand, I got my kh_drabble assignment and it is squee and catnip. Catnip I say! Gah. ^_^
Also I just got back from car fixings, which were relatively cheap this time - just brake lights blown out that needed replacing. *relieved*
And yesterday, coming home from the post office, I saw a hawk (?) in one of the trees in the yard. I tried to take a picture to see if I could identify what kind, but I haven't taken it off the camera yet to check. All I know right now is that it was huge (compared to the songbirds I usually see anyway), and I haven't seen one that close in ages.
Though what struck me after the fact was the smaller birds flying in close to it. Like landing in the same tree! And not raising a ruckus. idk, it was weird. Very cool though.
