And thank you in advance for whatever you decide to write. Enjoy yourself and I'm sure I'll enjoy whatever you write.
Things that I like! Fluff, a little bit of romance, silliness! Spooky things, ranging from 'eeek! awww' to 'i think my heart just ripped itself out of my chest to escape o.o'. Which is weird because I don't like horror movies? But halloween stuff is not entirely the same I've found. I love world-building! Explorations of how and why things work are always fun.
I covered my DNWs in the signup, but so they're also here: child abuse, gore, incest (I don't think I have any fandoms that could come up in, but it is a DNW so) and vore (pokemon ghosts are creepy and it could come up, but please don't be explicit if you go that route).
And to prevent this taking up an entire page/in case you don't want too much detail, the rest will be below the cut.
What? If humans can disguise themselves under sheets with eyes on, ghosts can totally draw a human face on a paper bag.
Pokemon: Main Games
All of the ghosts! Any of the ghosts! I love them they are my favorite pokemon. :D
So, doomed romance possibilities between a Chandelure and a Froslass, check. Drifloons attaching themselves to trick or treating parties and Pumpkaboos hiding in patches, check! Any of the ghosts being friends with any of the other ghosts, like a Honedge and Yamask maybe meeting in a museum, or something. Which gets back to the world-building.
Breath of Fire III
So hopefully I'm not the only one who finds the Chrysms delightfully creepy? I mean, how do they even get there? Are they dragons who died as they fled, or given the interconnectedness the Brood seem to have, were they sent there for Ryu to find? What is like to be basically a piece of magical amber, sitting there while the world goes by?
And come to that, what about the Guardians? Do the two that got turned to stone... well, are they dead or is it a different sort of chrysm, given the relationship between Deis and Myria?

Honestly I'd love to see the Bakurae trick or treating, it seems right up their alley. Just. If you go for a darker version of Ryou, imagine the banter 'Turning people into figurines is not an acceptable trick! What am I going to do with all of these, and don't you say villagers!'
Or trying to explain what the holiday's about, and how much of the Thief King is in Yami Bakura? How much of the whole being raised by ghosts does he remember?
Or the Kaibas, who I can imagine have the best candy. Maybe they set up an event at the theme park, and it's free for the night?

I absolutely love the atmosphere of that forest, and the whole journey on the train. The forest's music is one of my favorite pieces, so. Anything that captures that feeling would be wonderful.
Books of the Raksura - Martha Wells
Everyone loves scare-you stories, right? Friendly comfy squeaking by a fire and knowing that nothing terrible is actually going to happen to you sorts here, please.

Campfire stories! I'm just going to stay here until you give up, random monster person on the trail home, would you like to hear a story while we wait? Or Digger telling stories to the little wombats back home, or. Anything, really!
Wayward Children Series - Seanan McGuire
Seriously, if you've read the second book you know why I want to scream, and if you haven't, then I don't want to spoil anything. But I love Jack to pieces, and any story you care to tell of her will be welcomed. And Nancy! Does she ever earn some color, and work her way up in the court like it seemed she wanted to?
What are the unicorns like in that world, that their flesh was poison?
Does Christopher make it home?! The Skeleton Girl is waiting, so what is that like? The books mainly focus on the kids who leave, but I'd be happy to hear about those they left behind as well.
