spokeFeels like I'm treading water here. But as long as I don't go under, right? I did go out last night, finally making this ridiculous long drive to a 24-hour Starbucks which is the only one in my area. Because I'd never been, and it felt like an adventure.
The city that never sleeps And now it's night, so of course lights are on. This is gorgeous, and slightly depressing. People are just streaming by and won't talk to you, busy with thier own lives, just like a city.
I mean, some people talk to you. But you have to look for the meanderers, and the ones standing still.
Hrrrm. A door that leads out - oh Route 4. But I haven't found the Gym yet. But... moar new Pokemon. I'll just catch one and come back. I haven't even evolved everything I've got already! XD
Wow, that weather advisory wasn't kidding. This is some sandstorm!

Alright, back to hunting for that Gym.
Whoa. Once you find the right street, you can't miss it. The whole building looks to be stained glass. *is in awe of the pretty* ...that can't be real stained glass, it would never survive the battles!
DAMMIT TEAM JERKASS, STOP INTERRUPTING MY POKEMON JOURNEY. No, I can't have a battle with Burgh, even though he also was looking forward to it after my showing in Pinwheel Forest. Because you creeps are in town, messing up the fun times!
On the other hand, second time a Gym Leader invited me along to kick your butts! Clearly, I am recognized as a rising talent. :D

Oh dear. Now I see why the gleaming stained glass look - inside it's a honeycomb! Very nice for the Bug-type Gym. Though this Harlequin Trainer is creeping me out - Pidove evolved! I now have a Tranquil! \o/
They're all going to be Harlequins, aren't they? x.x
He killed me! Or at least, he fainted Purrloin and Tranquil. They are avenged by Xigbar, but now I have to run to the Pokemon Center. :/
I win the Insect Badge! It's lovely, too, a little wing. \o/
Oh, a phone call as I leave the building. Bianca's trained some, and she wants a rematch at the gate to Route 4. This is an improvement over being randomly jumped for rematches. :p
Have I mentioned this game is really generous with the money? There's a challenge rock back at ...Route 3, I think? You can knock a Star Piece off of everyday, if you've got a Fighting type with. Star Piece = 9800, and if you can't finance your journey between that and your winnings from various battles, I just. what are you doing with that money?
I am keeping nicely stocked with potions, various status heals, and pokeballs! ♥

And now back to Route 4. Right off, a new catch - Darumaka, the Fire Charm Pokemon. ...hi, Axel the Darumaka! >:D *is evil and loving it*

It so sounds like a set up. But I can't avoid it, AUGH.
Oh but hey, Bicycle! So I can get to that area in Pinwheel Forest, and I should go back to the Challenge Rock, what with running low on funds.
Also, I should sleep.
And sleep was had! And I was just working on leveling, but then I started to leave town without realizing, and Bianca caught me up, and dragged me to the Pokemon Musical.
And then ditched me there! :P Oh hell no, pal o' mine.
And then there was this horribly sad scene with beautiful music, where her Dad showed up to drag her home, and she refused to leave, and then the town's Gym Leader showed up and told Dad off for holding her back! And said some some wonderful stuff about the differences between people, and not giving up. And Bianca's continuing her journey and her Dad asked me to look out for her! But of course! :D
Current Pokedex count: Seen 42, Obtained 24.
