Ahem.

<< >>

I am not up too late. By more than a few minutes.

However, having thought of some questions and then lost the paper they were written on, I decided to come online and post them. ^^

(Also to leave a message for my Dad to pick up milk, but that's beside the point of the questions)

Okay.

Since Kaos refused to tell Arago his name, "I do not have a name which you will speak" ...how does Arago know his name in Epsiode 9? ... ... ...and the Masho know it too, but Arago could've told them. <<

...Following on the heels of this was - And how long does it take them to get from place to place anyway? I mean, Shuu was out in Hokkaido! How long were they split up?

Is it possible Arago could have communicated with anyone in the ningenkai other than the future Masho?

Does anyone know how he found Kaos' clan?

And yes, this means I have been back at work transcribing. ^_^

It's quite possible that Kaos has another name. It's likely common for ancient Japanese to follow the Chinese model of having several names, depending on what you're using it for. Also, if Kaos is a god-hero or a holy saint, that might do it right there.

First off, ignore the dubbed geography. Second, Seiji must have been speeding. ;p Naruto (http://earthsys.ag.ohio-state.edu/japan96/naruto.htm) is reasonably close to the the caves (http://www.livejournal.com/users/tenku/6295.html), and then Seiji and Nasuti went up to Hokkaido... Aomori to Osaka takes 15 hours (http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2354.html) at 80 km/hr, so it's conceivable that they got there in 24 hours. And no traffic, and I guess they robbed gas stations!

Quite possible. History's rife with chronicles of demons, so it's not out of bounds. However, once he was locked in the Youjakai, that communication might be limited. Seeing as he's a floating cocker spaniel. That's why picking up the Masho is such a mystery, because it had to have happened after he was banished, IIRC.

He looked really really hard. There's only a limited number of places where a shugendo monk and a clan could hide away from the warlords and governors of the time. It would most likely be close to a sacred mountain.

Yay transcribing!

Yes yay! ^_^

*nods all impressed-like* Makes sense! ...but that opens up the question what's his personal name?! *is now curious*

*about the god-heroes and holy saints as well as names*

Well yes ignore the dubbed geograhpy, but I haven't even got to the dubs yet! ...that would be incredibly confusing, trying to go back and forth. @.@ But most (all so far?) of the place names in the subtitles seem to be spelled right.

As for the rest of it... actually that would've been funny? Ryo and Shin are waiting at the temple, and it cuts to an image of Seiji and Nasuti pulled over on the side of the road! Seiji is being his usual self, and Nasuti is being restrained by the cops because Seiji is being his usual self - only she's finally had enough. ...Meanwhile, the cops are calling Seiji's Dad, which will probably lead to worse things than Nasuti could ever do to him, but she doesn't care.

And have I mentioned there is a map in the Encyclopedia? A couple, actually, which I desperately need to scan... There's a rough grid of Tokyo with screencaps from important scenes, and arrows leading to - but there are also on both maps little blocks of text with arrows and I don't know what those are!

But it's interesting that there is a little lump wherein a whole heck of a lot happened in this one small area. Relatively speaking, of course, but Nasuti and Jun's homes aren't that far apparent - I mean not compared to Naruto and the caves and Hokkaido! But Touma and Ryo's touchdown point is part of that same knot...

Yes... *peers suspiciously at the cocker spaniel* I don't know - something bothering me here aside from the Masho, and I'm not sure what. 'Cept that I don't think he'd entirely trust anyone running around loose in the ningenkai for x-hundreds of years, not even the Masho...

And I'm beginning to get really annoyed with my utter lack of printing! >:o Why won't the stupid thing work with my computer?! *wants her own printer*

*even if it is just for maps of Japan*

Ha! A possibly un-answerable question - why when I look at the maps and try to figure out where everyone might be, do I get this persistent image of Kenbukyo and KokuenOh in Okinawa and Byakuen in Hokkaido? ...I mean - whaaaat?! o.O

Hmmmm. Wonder what would happen to said mountains and holy places once they'd taken over...
