Dusky the kitty has developed some hunting instinct? Maybe? At least she is turning out very good at hiding around corners and jumping people.

And jumping in general.

In fact, she seems to think she is a jumping bean? This is her reaction to pretty much everything.

Dusky: I hear a noise! *jumps* *maybe onto the floor to run, maybe jumping in place*

...I see something moving! *jump around it*

Yesterday she paused to listen in the middle of jumping, with her front paws still in the air? She looked like the meerkats at the zoo.

Also she has taken to trying to groom me? She will lick and then try and do the little bites she does in her own fur. ...except, of course, I have no fur. << This seems to confuse her - she'll try and bite and then stop and tilt her head and bat at me with a paw, like 'What - where's the fur? What do I do if there's no fur? O.o' and then continue licking. >>; I am very patentiently putting up with all this, since she is being a lovey-kitty.

Also, she's 'talking' more lately. Especially if she is hungry. I get home, it's time to eat! 'Mew mew mew meeeew! Meeeew!' *jumps around my feet as I get food* 'Meeeew!'

I get up -repeat the whole routine. <<;; She seems to be a attention-needing little kitten in general.
