Yet another incident of why we should not mix shows:

Tristan: No, I don't think you do. Listen, I was there when all the crazy stuff went down at Duelist Kingdom. I've seen Pegasus ticked off and you don't want to risk that, Duke. And, ahhh *scratches his head* Look, I don't know if anyone's told you this? But the guy tried to bring his dead wife back from the grave, man.

Duke: *opens his mouth*
*shuts it*
...but he's gay!

Tristan: *nods seriously* You do not want to go casually screwing around with someone that possessive, Duke. Trust me.

And makes with the stalking of Seto... <<; Same room again...

Tristan: No, really. You need to get over this crush, Duke. It's not doing you any good, sittin' around sulking. Not to mention? It's just wrong for anyone to be jealous of Kaiba. >.<;

Duke: *quavery tone* It is not! I just - *realizes he has nothing and looks down at the die he is fiddling with instead*

Tristan: *leans back with his arms folded and watches Duke for a minute* You're just gonna sit here all night, sulking and feeling sorry for yourself, aren't you?

Duke: *not looking up*
*in the sort of sulky, pity-me tone that even the tone-deaf could recognize* I'm not sulking.

Tristan: >.< Riiight. *comes around the table and grabs Duke's arm, hauling him out of the chair* C'mon, buddy.

Duke: o.o;; Wha-hey! Leggo my arm, Tristan. >:/ *makes a doomed attempt to pull himself loose*
*whines* What are you doing?

Tristan: We are gonna find some of the other guys in here, and have a boys' night out. *continues dragging a wide-eyed Duke* And we're gonna get you so drunk you won't remember your name, nevermind Pegasus. *nods to himself as he pushes a door open*

Duke: o.o;;;

Is where I get confused - no-one will fess up as to exactly what happened. <<

The only clear image I have is of Shuten giving Duke this look and Duke going pop-eyed... and then he has locked a door behind him somewhere and would not come out for anything. Didn't even learn Shuten had been involved until after Duke decided it was safe to come out, and I'm still trying to find out what happened. o.o;

All I know right now is that Shuten definetly wants to get laid. And 'Duke has pretty eyes.'

And Duke is screwed because everyone but Tristan seems to be on Shuten's side. More or less. If not the side of popcorn munching amusment.
