Okay, tie: flower languages, or stairs! Choose whichever one you want to answer? And convince me not to start another LJ just to ask other things in?^^ (kidding, kidding! Although I could put it on GJ...)

Let's see... flower languages. Those are just - like in England (I think the 1800's or so, but I'm not sure right now - people courting each other or things could send each other specific flowers, and know what it meant. Say, a particular type of rose meant one thing, and then there were other flowers, and they could be combined for other meanings... I lost all my links to this stuff, I'm going to have to rehunt them. x.x

Stairs are just - stairs! Winding staircasey ones and the one Frodo and Sam had to follow Gollum up and tiny creaky ones... and looking up Parasite Eve stuff is clearly bringing creepy images to mind. <<;
