*chock full of rambling*

<< I like Peeps! >>
I have been struck by so much lazy this week >.< I keep waking up and falling back asleep, and I only seem to have any energy at work. >:p
In falling back asleep, though - two days I remember dreaming... the first one was one of the old, repeating dreams. Familiar and comfortable, even if my dreamself is upset. Although there is not too much being upset, in this one... There is this group of people living in the jungle near some gorillas. I think it's some sort of bizzare environmentalist enclave, gone refugee in the jungle in order to escape modern civilization? <<; Seriously. It's just too distinct an impression, that these people didn't really belong there, and didn't know what they were doing, trying to live off the land. Also, there is a generation gap big enough that it ought to be causing problems, kids thinking they have the stupidest parents ever. But I'm not sure what they're thinking, what they want to do - they don't seem to know much about the world their parents came from, no tales of past lives in cities to referance or anything.
So there's a lot of muttering while they're out foraging, or around campfires, but nothing is happening. And I don't ever learn what might have happened, because of the poachers. << After the gorillas, you know. >> Because I was out with some of the other kids, foraging - and this is probably the clearest image in the dream. The day is overcast, but not very windy, and the (impossibly) huge heliocopter that's taking the gorillas is across a wide river. And I'm standing there, staring with my mouth and getting touseled by the wind, and the others come up behind me and freak out about the gorillas. I, however, am more concerned with the heliocopter. Utterly *.* over the thing.
Like, who cares about the gorillas - I want that thing which is the biggest, shiniest metal thing! Like the earrings some of the grownups have but even better. <.<
This is actually why I go along with the other kids in the big dramatic plan to rescue the gorillas? Some vauge idea of seeing more wondrous things like that. Oddly, even though I have this idea floating in the back of my mind that one of the gorillas is my particular friend? I don't feel the tiniest bit of concern that she will be ticked off at me about this. Just convinction that she will completely understand my wanting of the shiny. >.> And anyway, we have to save them don't we? >:o Yes, it's semi-primitive jungle children to the rescue!
Have I mentioned this dream always amuses me? XD
So we come up with this plan to go after them, which suffers from one of those fun jumps in dreaming - sometimes I get the impression we've stolen a boat, or walked all the way there x.x;; - this time we were just there. The place where the gorillas were taken is this mix of zoo and amusment park and mall (?) and the atmosphere is like. A bank or a waiting room, at least the part we're wandering. All soft lighting, the carpets are gray and there are occasional windows out on the park. We've arranged this really cool breakout, because it has to be dramatic! But. We cannot find my particular friend, who is crucial to our success. @.@
So we're searching and searching and running into the other teams. And actual park employees, rather than our stolen-uniformed selves. >> And the whole thing begins to take on this distinctly Scooby-Doo quality. At one point I'm even in this area that I know does not belong in this dream. <.< Seriously, it's from another dream entirely, one of the other repeating ones - but my only thought is 'ooops I'm not supposed to be here', and heading back out the door.
When I finally find her, she's miles away from where we're supposed to be. On the other side of the place. I know she has been sleepwalking, though I'm not sure how I know. She's standing next to this huge glass wall, and on the other side there's some kind of party going on? Or it might be a play, or anything really - but they have fireworks for lighting. And I'm trying to wake her up, and getting panicky finally because she won't, and then she calls something.
Utter. Panic.
ohcrap!I've destroyed the world, Panic.
And then the huge white gorilla shows up and begins - you guessed it! - destroying the world. XD Or at least everything within reach of it, which considering it's about half the size of King Kong, is a pretty good amount of stuff. And there's the running and the screaming you'd expect, but then everything is also becoming incoherent, as if the thing is also tearing apart the dream's fabric? And this is probably the wierdest thing about this dream - everytime at the end, someone shows up to save everything, and it's cameos.
Yeah, you read that right. >.> This time it was the PowerPuff Girls. Tied up the gorilla with pretty ribbons. XD
The other one. I was in my room and supposed to be getting ready for work, but I didn't care. Even though I knew I was criminally late already. Because I was cleaning my room and I kept finding money. << Not sure what to make of that.
And a meme!
