I?

Just killed a wolf spider.

Ran between the bathroom and the kitchen shaking and grabbing Raid, and then ran in and out of the freaking bathroom spraying at it and checking if I got it and spraying at it and omg. I finally caught it under the edge of the cabinet and drowned it in a pool of Raid.

So.

Now everything is cleaned and the carcass is disposed of and I am still kind of a quivery little mess who will be trying to unwind by killing things on video games. And Dusky scared the crap outta me by jumping on the chair just after I'd got the thing and I'm still jumping at things out of the corners of my eyes.

But! Fear me, demon spiders!! Fear me and my Can of Raid, and don't come in this house again!! I've killed before and I'll do it again, dammit!! >:O

we are currently out of bug spray. Hopefully, no one will notice. Tend to squish things, myself. With a nice heavy cornstraw broom, if possible. Spiders are fast, though =p

They are very very fast! Especially the big ones, I think it jumped at some point! o.o;

We only had bug spray because of my having to take the trash out early and needing something to keep the wonderful neighborhood strays out of it. >.< Besides, I don't wanna actually feel the things at all anyway, I pick them up with wrapped paper towels or something so I can't tell what I'm holding.

Next stop in Kingdom Hearts: Halloween Town! After watching/recording Samurai Champloo again, that is! ^^

Not to fear. Wolf spiders only look scary. They are often used as natural pesticides, and eat other bugs. They start out very fuzzy and small, and yes they jump. I saw one do a spiderman move once. They don't like the cold and will often find a nice warm place to live out the winter. It was probably just looking for a cup of coffee after its long hybernation. ^^

But, see? I'm scared of spiders. Really. Like, arachnaphobic. I've trained myself out of it somewhat, where I don't have to go and wake someone up to save me from the evil bug? And little ones are kind of okay, I mean I can pick them up and throw them out of the house?

But I can't sleep knowing there's one of those in the house. Other bugs don't actually bother me, just ...spiders. >.
