Dec. 8th, 2005 08:32 amFirst, the entry I should have made when I got home from my latest misadventures:
COFFEE! :D Yes! And an icon I've been waiting to use, in honor of this tasty occasion, for lo: I have my longed-for White Christmas coffee!
*sips her peppermint freezer from Barnie's*
Santa's White Christmas, for those unfortunate enough not to know (alternately, fortune enough not to have been subject to my squeeing over this last year ;p ) is a delicious coffee tasting of coconut and other nuts, and caramel and a bit of vanilla - and really it tastes like the coconut sprinkled coating on some holiday desserts I've had? *.*
Also I got some tea that's supposed to be flavored thusly? ...also a candy mint cocoa packet, and some tea that's supposed to be blueberry/blackberry tisane. What's tisane? XD
I suspect I went a litttle bit overboard, what with my joy in successfully finding the place. But only a little! ^^
An interesting thing about that is I screwed up my alarm clock someway. I didn't even realize at first what had happened, I just wondered why my lovely automatic coffee maker didn't have my coffee ready for me. To which question, the answer turned out to be - because it was 4:00 and not 5:00. However. Because I got up that way, I ended up leaving earlier too. It was wierd, it felt like an extra hour added into the day.
Sadly, it went downhill from there. I was happy and feeling like exploring, so I tried to find the Suncoast (where I pick up my manga - I have no YuGiOh yet! :/ ) that was supposed to be out there. I ended up lost for an hour and a half. Which just turned into this worn-out tension that for the most part lasted the rest of the night. x.x
Although there were some bright moments. ^^
Just now, I got home from trying to drive out to visit my sister. No good, and I don't know why I could find the street I needed, although I'm poking around online to see if I can find answers about that now. As I stopped in the gas station, it occured to me that I am tired and frustrated and this is stupid - this is one of the times when I should wait for something, and try again when I am not turning into a knotted bundle of RAR!
So I'll be trying again tonight, leaving earlier in the hopes of avoiding traffic, and right now I'm going to watch some Bdaman and scratch out a rough draft for Seasons' Spirits. Yay Karat!
When I get up? I am going to make a quick run to Orange Park, where I know where my manga are, both because I want them and because I like the ego boost of succeeding at something, even if this is a cheapy. :P Also being sparkly happy will be good for coming home and polishing up my post.
And then hammering away at the Yuletide that is lurking at the corners of my mind. I could reach out and grab! - except that would be counter-productive. &%$#
