May. 10th, 2007 08:10 amI am a lump. An aggravating, aggravated lump. x.x
But I did email FCCJ about the scholarship-thing, at least. Since I'm apparently not awake anytime their financial people are in. x.x
So, goals for later today: Get up, get dressed, see what part of my immediate needs I can cover on the $26 I need to make last until payday. I'm thinking spaghetti or something.
Art and more art, I have a present I owe that I've been needlessly angsting over. Also I owe myself x-infinite icons and just general relaxing. Instead of trying to have fun and depressing myself into knots with it.
I haven't written anything in... at least a month, maybe longer. Haven't even touched the NaNo, which I really need to do. So, something there and something in the Troopers' stuff, if only looking at it and thinking.
...thinking things like Axel and Ryo, and general chaos which might come close to the awesomeness of this: Demyx and Kairi. It didn't happen that way, it is complete crack really and I don't care.
And since I've started linking, and this post could use something good (and I've noticed a lot of unhappiness on my flist lately that I feel completely unable to do anything about except try to share shinies) : recs! Mostly Kingdom Hearts, so unless otherwise noted assume so. ^^;; My obsessions lead me around by the nose, don't you know?

2. Ansem Retort Now this one needs warnings. Plural. Possibly with the symbol for toxicity, as it is vulgar and out-of-character and insane. Ummm, think early South Park, not the later stuff. It is Chain of Memories characters forced into a roommates reality show. And sometimes some FF characters. And Darth Maul.
3. FF XII : 10,000 Steps Penelo, who so totally is a dancer. ^_^
4. Good Omens : Going Home I've been looking for Good Omens fic that actually works, and while this feels just a bit off? It still made me grin like an idiot. I wish to squee and babble and must restrain myself for the spoilers that would escape if I did. mwaha
5. A Sorrow of Magpies A look at the beginnings of Organization 13. Not exactly happy, but very very interesting. Anything by this author is good, too. And he does FF XII!
6. Mentioned to me in conversation by a party who shall remain nameless lest someone go looking for revenge: a hole in my bucket This is a whole new way to fracture fairy tales. And folksongs. And who knows what else, I haven't read in depth yet. ...I will never listen to that song with a straight face again. XD
7. Disorganization Wheee, crack. Xaldin eating Darkside Peeps crack. (So, does that mean a Peeps shaped like Darkside, or a Peeps covered in black sugar with little yellow wax eyes? I vote for the second, even though I think it's meant to be the first. :o ) With a sort-of happy ending, even!
8. There isn't enough yuri, and there isn't enough trying to account for the continued existences of Namine and Roxas - and boy do they duck out of explaining how that works. Ghost Hands Kairi, and Selphie, and Namine.
9. Those Lacking Spines I have rec'd this before. I will do so again, probably just as soon as it finishes. ...I seem to have a fondness for crack!O13.
10. The Mouse Who Would Be King Mickey. Backstory. The events in Timeless River, Fantasia and the 'present' Disney Castle actually woven into a coherent story. *loves to death* ...this has everything to do with the fact I love Mickey, and squee'd his name outloud every time he showed up when I first played KHII. ...and Chain of Memories, for that matter. ( I rant spoilery. Because ranting is fun! and Mickey's a chicken )
11. ZOMG DARKNESS! Best summary of Chain of Memories, ever. EVER, I say. And yes, Ansem really talked like that. Only, you know, more poetically and with the offering of candy tosmall children Riku. But I've never read anyone going on and on, the way he does, only... not. XD
