Jan. 5th, 2011 12:24 amHappy very belated New Year, everyone! And hey, look - I'm not dead. :D
Last year was fairly full of garbage that I will not further depress myself by going back over. Instead, have an also-late Yuletide Reveal.
This year for Yuletide I wrote one fic and three drabbles, which are as follows:
Let Your Heart Be Light, a Parasite Eve II fic. Aya, Eve and Kyle during the holidays.
This was a little frustrating to write, in that way where you know exactly what you want, and fall on your face everytime you try and get there. :P I managed eventually though, and I'm fairly pleased with how it turned out.
Priorities Final Fantasy IV, Edward and his lute. No, I'm not kidding.
A lot of my fics, I am noticing, start with this one image or a thought that I really like. This one was particularly suited to a drabble.
At About Sunset Biting the Sun by Tanith Lee, still one of my favorite books. Narrator, Esten and their kid.
I really struggled with this one, because I only skimmed through the book (repeatedly) while I was writing it, instead of re-reading the whole thing, and I thought for sure the voices were off. But I am told this is not the case! And there needs to be more fic for this book anyway.
If I Never See Another Latte Despicable Me/Harry Potter crossover. Severus Snape meets Gru! Not kidding again.
Because the thought of these two running into each other just about choked me laughing. And I am rather tempted to do more drabbles about this.
