Well the DADA position just doesn't stay filled. Doesn't mean they all end up dead. But you realize how many teachers this is?! This was before Harry - well, presumbably this started before Harry was even born! Not a sparkle in Lily's eye, even! I mean... how many ways can they be driven out?!
You realize, I want to know what year Voldemort came calling, and how many teachers that would make, and really I just want a list. ...this has potential in the humor fic department, doesn't it?
No, being a Metamorph is hereditary. Duh! But it's Polyjuice! It turns you into that person physically, hence Harry not needing his glasses during, the change of clothes - so would the physical ability of a Metamorph to change be reproduced by drinking Polyjuice? Or would it just turn you into that person's natural (?) form? Or do something splendidly horrid like Millicent's cat!Hermione! >:)
