Got up a bit early to go and pick up the new glasses. I'm not entirely comfortable with these things yet - possibly because of the new prescription, possibly because the lens size itself is maybe half that of my old glasses.

This is not a good thing. It means instead of just looking with my eyes for out-of-sight things, I have to actually turn my head to bring them in view. x.x Might end up going back and getting larger lenses.

Or it could just be the immediate dislike of anything new. Or the feeling of strain right now in the left (weaker) eye. Which hopefully will go away once I adjust?

Meh. I need coffee.

You get used to the smaller frames after a while... I'm blind and I needed to switch to a smaller lens or else a really THICK HUGE pair of frames to support them.

Even though my field of vision's only about 60% of what it could be I don't notice it much anymore. (My periferal vision's actually quite good, considering.)

I think I just need more time to adjust? I keep frowning everytime I try to look out of the corners of my eyes and it goes from clear to fuzz.

On the other hand, I seem to have adjusted to the new prescription pretty well. ^^
