spokeIt had been a fairly lousy weekend, leading into a lousy week, and one of my Egypt books that I'm reading now has both water damage and coffee stains, from two separate events. Sitting YouSendIt-ing files to myself, which eats up speed and really doesn't encourage me to do much more with the computer than sending the files - and being the genius that I am, I sent all my writing and then the various pictures and such first, then started slowly plowing my way through the music.
I have been listening through things that have just sort of piled up on me and deleted a surprising amoung, which has helped to speed up the whole process. I like to think. >.>
But! That is not why I was going to make this entry. The reason I was going to make this entry is - S. from work got fired! >:D
*sings* Ding, dong, the witch is dead!
I got this news when I got into work and the front end was a confused wreck, and eventually when I got a chance, I asked H. who was filling in for S.'s position what was going on. I loved her delivery of this: "Well, A. is off tonight, and L. is on a mini-vacation, and - S. got fired! :D "
XD I laughed. I couldn't help it. She looked like she was passing out candy. ...she was passing out candy. ;p
And it's possible that with just about anybody else I would feel some guilt over this, even if I didn't like the person. But S. worked hard for this firing, dammit. Good riddance! >:PPP
Then I got off and wandered through the Easter aisle into which things are already trickling. And found Peeps.
I don't care if it is February! Peeps!!!

make mixtapes (well, CDs, you know what I mean *is old*) to get them off, and reload onto the new 'puter?...well, wait, that takes time, too =p Okay, carry on, I'm in full ramble mode, here^^
