Still moody and emotional and annoyed with myself due to that.
Still haven't gotten around to watching last week's 'Gates. Meh. I will enjoy them when I see them.
But in the attempt to be productive there was at least some cleaning done, and a whole day (after waking up late) playing KH II. Which I enjoyed while I was playing it, even if the annoyance and frustration kicked in again after.
I keep staring at my flist and being shocked at how much I miss.
Things I Miss From KH I:
The eerieness of Hollow Bastion, with the vast heights and the upward flowing water. I have this insane urge to kick Leon & Co. out, out I say!! That Maleficent might take up residence and make the place cool again. (I only tag the insane on due to the soft spot for the FF characters, whom I wouldn't really want to chase out, but still.)
Alice in Wonderland. They could've done some wonderful mind-twisting things with Through the Looking Glass! I can only half-remember it, and it makes me want to go hunt up a copy, that I might better imagine Sora navigating his way through the squares. *tortures poor not-the-brightest-crayon-Sora with mind-twisty worlds* >:)
The old Cave of Wonders, which was gorgeous and less... crayon-like than the new one. For 'fixing things that aren't broken' see also 'Bastion, Hollow'
...the Chesire Cat? Would make an incredibly interesting summons. What would it do? ...if anything?
Peter Pan. Even if Sora is growing up, and would horrify (or confuse) Peter with his mushy interest in Kairi. (And have I mentioned that Sora's sudden and blatant crushing on/confusion about Kairi is hilariously cute? Because it is. Riku's something else entirely, except where they're connected, and oi that triangle is something to think about later.)
More Riku!! Dammit, you got regular doses in the first game, when they were kids, and now they're growing up you don't see him until the last fourth of the game?! And he won't leave the World that Never Was. Suckage.
Meanwhile, I keep trying to kick myself into actual writing and/or drawing. Preferably both, must work more on that tonight. While playing KH II some more, as the writing I would like to rough draft and set aside to soak is thereof. Should anyone see me online, kindly poke me in that direction?
Other goals for tonight: Cooking! And more laundry. And whatever I feel like doing, because I keep making myself tense to the point of nausea.

Date: 2006-10-02 08:55 am (UTC)I'm not sure summoning the Cheshire Cat would be such a great idea...of all the critters in Alice's world likely to turn into a dragony version of itself just to terrify millions? Yep, him^^...kitty-dragons, in general, would rock, though.
hiiii^^
(ahah! I have a Peter Pan-related question for you: how did the Pirates get to Neverland? Fairies nabbing boy-babies I get; the rest makes me flail?)
