<3 I LOVE HARRY POTTER! BEHOLD MY FANDOM-LOVE, IN APPROPRIATE ALL-CAPS! <3

And enough of that, because I don't think I could stand it for the whole entry. I was so happy. Even with the recent reading fresh in my brain, and the list of Things Wrong ticking off - starting with Harry not being nearly ALL-CAPS enough. I kept expecting it and I feel cheated, darnit! >:P

But ooooh. Shacklebolt was cool! I had been picturing him sort of like Samuel L. Jackson, as Mace Windu. It felt a bit out of place, honestly? So I was half looking forward to him and half worried. But eeee, he was so very wizardy with his lovely formal-looking robes. ^^ My biggest complaint was not getting to hear him tell Moody no one was going to get killed. I wanted to hear that line, dammit. It is coolness!

And Tonks! Who did very well for hardly having any lines at all, oi. >:P But still - her hair going red on "Don't call me Nymphadora." And the noses. ;p

Loony! :D She's so very cool! And the image of her going to the Forest to feed thestrals is just so out there and cool and I was just really unexpectedly pleased. I didn't realize until halfway through the movie that I was expecting her to be a bit like Trelawney, and therefore annoying.

And Neville. eeeeeee, Neville. Although I have one complaint that deserves capslock for its own sake: NEVILLE IS NOT A HOUSE-ELF!!! And I wish they'd stop using him to cover revelations that belong to Dobby. Yuck. But for having to cover the whole subject of Neville's parents in the smidgen of time they gave it, they did all right. Besides, I liked him getting to see the picture of his parents. No doubt he has his own pictures, I rather expect his Gran makes it uncomfortable even. But there with him while he's training? <3 That whole wall was a good thing to have in the room. Also, many <3's for Harry encouraging Neville, and the impression being given that everyone was, really. ^__^

<3 Luna & Neville <3 Which I never even considered before, but they were so inadvertently teaming up in the Ministry, and it too was cool. ^_^

Did anyone else get a kick out of the flare in Ginny's eyes when Hermione mentioned Cho being all googley-eyed at Harry? XD

Umbridge. May she burn in whatever afterlife the ghosts of the caste avoided, that's all I'm saying on the subject.

Though Harry's "I'm sorry, Professor. I must not tell lies." got a nice loud round of applause from the whole audience. >:)

And the thestrals. O.O Excellent! I want one! Especially a foal, gaaaah! Tiny death horses are the cutest things! :D

omg, Sirius. ;_;

...I was rather annoyed and impressed that they made Lucius so very intimidating. With the echoing hisss of his voice there. Verrry nice.

Snape! Waaah, school-days Snape and now I want to kick Harry's father's butt all over again, the jerk. >:/ And eeee, Occulumency rocks. Really it does. I loved how they chose to show that? Wonderful visuals for how it gets described in the book. *nods* Also, Snape inserting himself into memories was freaking creepy. :D ...omg, the fic-fodder. XD

"No idea." indeed. XD

Bellatrix? Rocked. Really very convincingly unhinged, again for someone who did not have the proper amount of lines. Also she has the single coolest classical witch-cackle ever. I could see her offering small children poisoned apples at Halloween, just for kicks. XD

And now I think I have squee'd myself out, and I still haven't fixed my lunch. Time for eats!

ETA: Before I head back to college, it's been nagging at me and I don't want to forget - did anyone else notice Phineas burnt out in the room they made of the Black family tapestry?

Like, Phineas Nigellus? Because if that's who was meant, and Rowling approved of it, um. Wow.

Snerk. It helps to put the word "spoiler" in your lj-cut.
