So. As a late birthday/very early Christmas present for me, I have gotten a Wii! :D And put in for a week's vacation time that I might enjoy it. ^_^

Drama ensues as 1. I can't get past the language setting screen and learn that it was because there was no game disc in. Whaaat, I thought I needed to have things set up before starting a game, not as part of the process. This makes no sense! :P

2. My cat bit through the wire for the sensor bar and I had to go out and buy a new one.

3. I can't fish in Zelda: Twilight Princess. But now I know how!

This game is so freaking gorgeous. So. Gorgeous. And I missed Link! Legend of Zelda and early Final Fantasies were my first serious rpgs, and then the systems split and I haven't played in forever. There was that brief time with the N64 and Ocarina of Time, but I never did get to beat it and then my brother sold the thing.

Jerk.

Anyway! Still goofing off in Ordon Village, still laughing at Link and his D: face after Sera's cat steals that fish I finally caught. It was awesome. <3

Also! Epona is fun! Poking around the village is fun! And I am just perfectly happy to immerse myself in a nostalgic comfortable game world right now, knowing that I have the time to do so and not worry about anything. Lesse what else needs doing before Dramatic Questing ensues!

Ooooh, sword training of a sort - and then Questing! ...why must children run off into the woods after mean little monkeys the same size as they are?! >:P

Great. Trapped in a dungeon with a little trickster thing laughing at me. ..on the other hand, wolf!Link :D

And we have Zelda! Twilight Princess. :P

Bet it's Ganon. Or Ganon's replacement. Triforce of Power has to go somewhere if he's finally gone, yes? If. *will always suspect/blame Ganon until it's proven otherwise*

Midna kind of irritates me. But then, tricksters generally do. Especially with her laughing at me while I try to figure out stuff.

But! We've escaped Twilight, gotten armed, rescued a light spirit and I'm about to head back in - whenever I wake up. Sleeepy now. @.@

I need to think of a nice, simple tag for this game...

...and she was never seen again!^^

Have fun Wii'ing around! (I still can't believe they didn't keep the name Revolution, man. =p) *cough* Jay got a second PSP today, and brought it home. I think I'll name it Shiny. He discovered, you see, that the PSP can be extra controllers for the PS3--one of which he ran into at the local Game Over store--one of the ones with backwards compatibility for most PS2 games that we'd been looking for...I sense that we will be playing FF7 again, and possibly 8, and 10, and 12, and finishing off any of the several other RPGs we never finished at home...as soon as he decides which one, and he stops playing the Little Big Planet demo and the one, um, there's big-eyed critters and bug-spitting and cannibalism and rainbow-puking to feed offspring...>.

I don't know, I like Wii. My brain always hears 'wheeee!' which it certainly lives up to so far. <3

Bweeee. Hooray for Final Fantasy marathons! :D And I have no idea which one has big-eyed critters and cannibalism, but it. Sounds. Freaky! o.O

*glomps*

Got it--it's called Critter Crunch, and it's actually a puzzle game...with live critters that you feed to other critters, and they drop gems, which your critter eats, then it regurgitates them in a rainbow flood in order to feed its unspeakably cute offspring! o.o Jay LOVES THIS GAME. I may have to nudge him toward an RPG when he sidles out of Car Stereo mode (they're fiddling with stuff again).
where are the glorious toon series of old?! how am I going to find more stuff to break your brain with at this rate! I shall have to start rummaging through books for strange pairings...and hey, there's always videogames! mwahahahha.0=D
