Nov. 4th, 2009 10:00 amSo. As a late birthday/very early Christmas present for me, I have gotten a Wii! :D And put in for a week's vacation time that I might enjoy it. ^_^
Drama ensues as 1. I can't get past the language setting screen and learn that it was because there was no game disc in. Whaaat, I thought I needed to have things set up before starting a game, not as part of the process. This makes no sense! :P
2. My cat bit through the wire for the sensor bar and I had to go out and buy a new one.
3. I can't fish in Zelda: Twilight Princess. But now I know how!
This game is so freaking gorgeous. So. Gorgeous. And I missed Link! Legend of Zelda and early Final Fantasies were my first serious rpgs, and then the systems split and I haven't played in forever. There was that brief time with the N64 and Ocarina of Time, but I never did get to beat it and then my brother sold the thing.
Jerk.
Anyway! Still goofing off in Ordon Village, still laughing at Link and his D: face after Sera's cat steals that fish I finally caught. It was awesome. <3
Also! Epona is fun! Poking around the village is fun! And I am just perfectly happy to immerse myself in a nostalgic comfortable game world right now, knowing that I have the time to do so and not worry about anything. Lesse what else needs doing before Dramatic Questing ensues!
Ooooh, sword training of a sort - and then Questing! ...why must children run off into the woods after mean little monkeys the same size as they are?! >:P
Great. Trapped in a dungeon with a little trickster thing laughing at me. ..on the other hand, wolf!Link :D
And we have Zelda! Twilight Princess. :P
Bet it's Ganon. Or Ganon's replacement. Triforce of Power has to go somewhere if he's finally gone, yes? If. *will always suspect/blame Ganon until it's proven otherwise*
Midna kind of irritates me. But then, tricksters generally do. Especially with her laughing at me while I try to figure out stuff.
But! We've escaped Twilight, gotten armed, rescued a light spirit and I'm about to head back in - whenever I wake up. Sleeepy now. @.@
I need to think of a nice, simple tag for this game...
