You know, I meant to make an update over the weekend. About the fact that I actually got some writing done.

Instead, I shall squee over being the excited new owner of a Pokemon: HeartGold game. ^_^

I forgot how much I like these games. And it's so shiny and pretty and your Pokemon follows you around. I haven't seen that since Pokemon: Yellow - the Pikachu who won't evolve because it thinks it's Ash's. :P

But this, this is whatever Pokemon you choose! I have a Sentret following me around, eeee. It just bounced around when I talked to check its mood, and it says "Fluff is showing off its agility!" ...what, I can name my Pokemon whatever ridiculous things I like. >>

I haven't tried out the Pokewalker accessory yet, but I think I'll like it. It's a pedometer and I walk a lot, so. It will be super-effective!

Gah, I need sleep. Must stop training Pokemon... XD

Mwahahhaha! (sez the owner, since Friday past, of a sparkly Pokemon SoulSilver--Jay's got the HeartGold; he started a bit before me, because it took a while to make heads 'n' tails of the Pokewalker instructions?) My starter's Kilby the Chikorita; I'm considering giving him the Everstone, and letting him get some of his big moves a bit earlier? Especially since I have folks who can handle the Rival (Rai, 'thunder' in Japanese, according to my baby name book?)...the Pokewalker definitely encourages you to walkabout, and take it wherever you go^^ I have had four or five kids in there so far?...I should poke the WiFi thingy, and then we could trade, unless they make you wait until you've gotten all your Badges? But I don't *think* they do?
...whyyyy do I have a thing for redheads?! =p

Trading!!! :D Only, I can't yet because it needs a) a separate Wifi connector thing or b) a wireless router.

My router, it is not wireless. And they're 40-50 bucks. :/

But I have a connector thing coming in the mail, and hopefully it won't get lost. Two things I ordered have. >:| But we can totally start once that arrives, because I can go into the trading spot at any Pokemon Center. I just can't do anything there.

My starter was the Totodile - Stalker is now a Feraligator, which looks a bit creepy walking along behind me. In any other setting, that would be something out of a horror movie. XD Fluff is a Furret, and still adorable, and now prone to random hugs and snuggling and gazing at me with adoration. :D

My trainer may have gotten named Seto. Which is funny, considering the way the Rival talks (Yugi, who else) sounds a lot more like him.

Because redheads are, um... firey? I don't know. XD
