Sorcerer
Pure silver
sings the blade
as it swings through blood
through flesh and bone and dreams
as the power spears through lines
of enemies in silver arching fire
as the sorcerer moves
pure silver, through blood
in the wake
II
Frozen Forest
Glass flowers fall
from the newly frozen trees
as the sorcery born winter spreads
as the clouds roll over the forest
sending panicked animals flying,
fleeing through the winter nightmare
III
Isle
Snow barely concealing
the solid ice that covers
the surface of the lake, making
the bridge leading to the island
seem at best a little pointless,
hidden by the trees
IV
Dragon Tears
Falling tears of silver
decorate the ground below
in lovely crystalline shades
mingling with the snow
that falls off the trees,
now slowly dripping
V
Venice
White as diamonds
trailing behind her
as she walks to the music
her thoughts filled with forests
with snow, ice and battle
as she wonders about his fate
as she tries to slow her feet
down the aisle
VI
Almost
Wings drop down
releasing an arctic gale
from scales of forged ice
as he hears a horrid wail,
as he shakes the cursed scales
as a hand touches the door...
VII
Failure
Breaking down
the door in rage
that lets the silver storm
come pouring onto guests
who stare in shocked horror
at the form in slowly spreading
shades of red that stain the ground
"She took out a knife" one whispered
VIII
Massacre
Rage is a tempest
far greater than the storm outside
which rises now within him,
and once more frees the blade
to spread ribbons of silver destruction
as the candles all go out
IX
Forever Sleep
Curled upon stone
in the winter that lasts
forever upon the isle, it sleeps
while unfrozen waves lap
at the ruins of a bridge,
at the blade of sword
when did i write these?

and now that i think of it: someday, my brother will pay for selling MY copy of Breath of Fire III. it's very aggravating to have a muse from a game i no longer have pestering me.
