spokeokay. got through my first shift alright, though it helped that it was dead slow. everyone kept telling me that, too, that this was way slower than things normally are.
should that worry me?
probably would, except that i'm too busy trying to squash this weird feeling that there's less time in the day. i swear, it really feels like i've stepped into some alternate reality where the Earth has a faster rotation or something... very strange.
on the other hand, i can now make lists-of-things-to-buy:
first check, if it will all fit:
Car Insurance
Pay back Tenshi no Korin for sending loverly tape
renew LJ
Curtains. Must Have Nice Dark Curtains! for pretending that it's really dark out, except i suspect the happy birds chirping to greet the day will still spoil it. >:\
