All four of them, this time, even though there was another hang-up with the custody case over Michelle. Don't you love our goverment sometimes? >.<
So they're running around like little mad-persons, and I would have thought Michelle wouldn't remember me. We've seen that little of each other, you know?
She walked straight up to me and said she missed her Aunt Diana. ^_^ *is tiny bit sniffly* And she wanted to see what i'd drawn and everything; she wasn't this friendly when sis was living here!
Nathaniel still seems about the same height, so I guess he's not had another big growth spurt; although, considering he's been mistaken for 5 since he was 3, this isn't something we're too worried about. His dad (the *censored* ex, was almost 7 foot; we're pretty sure Nathaniel's going to reach that too.)
Jonathan still isn't talking as much as he should be; the little snake has his brother trained to do things for him. And I mean that; Jonathan has already shown he knows how to manipulate people, and Nathaniel is a 'little helper', so. I worry about that sometimes; not Nathaniel, since he can only be pushed so far, and then he'll prove to everyone is hearing range that he has the worst temper of the lot. But Jonathan is due for a real shock someday, when he realises that A) the world does not revolve around him, and B) Nathaniel is not being as stupid as he is likely to assume. See, my sister did the same thing to me, and thought she was being soo clever, and I thought, you know, 'I am helping!' And when I put my foot down... it didn't bother me so much, I mean I was hurt she thought she was manipulating, but I was also amused. Idiot thought she was in charge because I was easy to get along with; HA!
She, however, seemed to think I had somehow defied the very laws of nature. << O.o;;;
And back to Jonathan after my little sidetrip; the efforts of trying to make him talk seem to have payed off at least a little. Still not so much talking, but much, much better pronounciation. ^^;
Ashlin, the youngest (7 months now) is turning out to be very shy, though. Dad and I both tried to talk to her, and she just burst into tears. ;_; We didn't do anything! Yeah, I know it'll get better; but everytime sis talks about her, it's all what a funny laugh she has, and such a little ray of sunshine... and she cried! << >> Noo, I am a horrible Auntie!
Got better when they went went outside; 'Shelle and the boys loved, and I mean 'Mommy can we keep him?' loved, Fwooper. They were petting him and cooing to him and they wanted to feed him, it was sooo cute! He was just eating it up, too. They didn't know what to make of him at first, they're used to cats who run away from kids (and rightly so, since most kids will pull thier tails and crap, or hurt them witthout meaning to) but since Fwooper is naturally friendly and hasn't been mistreated by people, he had no real problem with them. Bit still at first, since they were LOUD, but once he got over that, he was all over them, batting at thier feet and nosing them and gah! The cute overload!
Pity Kevin doesn't like cats, i'd have let them have him. I mean, he loves them, they love him, it was all good. Dumb Kevin.

Date: 2003-07-15 11:46 pm (UTC)Scott's pretty hard to catch on tv or film -- he's primarily a theatre actor (he's been a member of the Stratford Company for somewhere around 20 years) and has been doing a lot of directing in recent years. If you live near New Jersey, he directs at least one play a year at the NJ Shakespeare Festival. He also writes the books for musicals with his wife and her partner doing the songs. (Gun Metal Blues is rapidly becoming a repertory theatre classic, and their Enter the Guardsman won Best New Musical of the Year.)
You can sometimes catch him in guest shots for series that film in NYC. His most recent, though, was a Law & Order last year.

Date: 2003-07-17 01:56 am (UTC)Unfortunately, I don't have the Law & Order episode title handy, but it's the one that deals with a Senator's aide being missing, then found dead. Scott plays the Senator. Small part, but he's delish as usual.
Some of Scott's theatre performances are available on video and/or audiocassette from the Stratford Theatre.
I've been trying for years to find a soundtrack from "Welcome to the Club", Scott's Tony-nominated Broadway performance. (The man has a singing voice on him that leaves wet spots on theatre seats everywhere.)
Kermit factoid: Scott was playing Tranio in "Taming of the Shrew" at Stratford when Michael Slone (creator/exec prod of KF:TLC) saw him, and then wrote the Kermit part for him. Tranio wears glasses in that production, and Scott nipped over to the props department and grabbed those glasses for the part, and there ya go.
(That's a fabulous production of Shrew, btw, with Colm Feore as Petruchio and Wyn-Davies as well. It was shown on CBC in Canada, so taped copies are floating around fandom.)
