Although, I tried to go to the mall, and got lost again. >:p This time, due to missing the spot where I normally get on the highway.
Because I was heading towards work on reflex. >.<
But no, I thought I'd be clever; I remembered (or so I thought) Dad getting onto the freeway up ahead, and going to the mall... << Or was that somewhere else? *confused* But it was when I’d have to get rides with him! And somewhere we both liked to shop! Surely it must be to the mall, and I'll recognize where to go once I’m on the road!
Ha. Ha, ha. Of course, once I was on the road, I realized that this was the way to a Barnes and Nobles. On the other side of town from the mall. And I couldn't remember exactly how to get there, nevermind I didn't want to go there, I had other shopping to do this time.
*sighs* At least I was only lost for half an hour this time? And I got home all by myself, and by actually figuring things out, rather than lucking up or having to call home for directions?
The next time I realize i've passed where I needed to get on 295, I'm freaking well turning around. And to think I plan to move out of this state someday far in the future. << You know what'll happen? I'll be heading for Texas and end up in New York, is what.
Another odd thing... I keep getting compliments on my voice at work. O.o When I have to make pages? Couple of people have even said I ought to try answering phones or something like that, secretary-type work. *shudders* Not happening. Although it did get me thinking that it might be fun to do an audio book… ^^;; This, too, is probably not happening. But it is a fun thought.
Planning on borrowing Dad's scanner tonight, i'll have to see...
