I'm feeling rather amused.

My car is fine. My car is, in fact, wonderful. Apparently, the battery 'died' from the trunk accidently being left open all night? Oooops? I don't remember hitting the trunk button on my key, but the neighbor-guy (whose name I really ought to learn one of these days) said he had noticed that, so.
The thing is, I thought when a battery was dead, it was ...well, dead. And I would have to buy a new one. I know they exist! I've checked out people who have purchased these things! <<
But what happened was, Dad 'jump-started' it. Like in hospital/emergency type tv-shows. ...you can tell I don't watch these, either, but -that's what it was like, I swear. Hooks his up to mine, lets it run for a little bit, and 'Clear!' and eventually she starts running again. O.o
This has taught me a valuable lesson, and that is that I am completely ignorant when it comes to how my car works. Putting fuel into her might has well be me sacrficing to the spirit of the car engine, for all I could tell you how this makes her run.
Yet somehow, I suspect that I will remain forever ignorant of the basic mechanics of my car...
