So i'm about to crash, but here's like... 2, 3 days worth of playing? Mostly on my lunch, and I didn't so good today due to feeling worn out. But! Much fun was still had, and 2 evolutions achieved! :D

Lookit me, actually doing something I said I'd do. :P

Cut for rambley )

Okay. Sleeping time is now. Hopefully I will remember that tonight's goals include working on a drabble for kh_drabble on livejournal. Because I have an idea for the first time in forever, instead of just thinking 'oh nice challenge, I should try...' and then nothing. x.x

So here we have what's been going on with me lately.

Stressy unhappiness cut )

In happier news, I finally got my quiet Feebas! Now I just have to decide how I'm going to get it to evolve into a Milotic - probably by lying to the DS's clock and saying it's day in the middle of the night. Stupid beauty/tea ceremony that only happens in the afternoon.

So as you may have gathered by the length of time since my last post, I am a sporadic updater! Oh well. -.-

..I don't really have anything to say this time, either. I just feel like updating, so have some links that are both fun and educational! (For a certain value of educational... ) There's a guy on Bulbagarden.net - a lovely little Pokemon wiki/news site - who's doing a series of articles titled On the Origin of Species. ♥ It details the real life and/or cultural origins of various Pokemon species. So far he's covered:

Sandshrew and Sandslash

Manaphy and Phione

Mawile

Castform

Wooper

Also currently in Pokemon: Heartgold, I am trying to get a Quiet natured Feebas so I can raise it into a Milotic. Natures determine a certain amount of a Pokemon's strengths/weaknesses, so I'm being a bit picky about this. Except I've hatched about 10 of them so far and no luck, so I may get frustrated and settle for another nature. Maaaybe. >>

Randomly, while walking around to hatch eggs two things occured to me - well, one image and one thing.

Image: my little Trainer character carefully walking around with a carton of eggs, trying not to drop any. :p

Thing: between the Pokedex and the Storage Boxes, whoever has access to this information would have a fairly comprehensive list of every Trainer's on-hand Pokemon and their reserves, and could basically keep tabs on everyone's offensive potential. You know, should someone go berserk and start using the Pokemon as what they effectively are: an army. An army of adorable pets, buuuut...

And then I wondered if this maybe too paranoid and dark for a warm fluffy fandom. And then I wondered if I really care, because well. It could be interesting to write for, if it ever goes anywhere besides 'huh. Big Brother could be watching me!' ...I wonder what Professor Oak and others would think about that use of their technology. hrrrm.

I'm still a bit depressed about my writing, or lack thereof. But! There has been a little, and some drawing which I need to do more of, and I'm trying not to stress myself about things. Stress helps nothing! :/

Oooooh - and Leverage! I have started watching this lovely show called Leverage. I just. Don't even. eeeee :D Modern day Robin Hood! Stealing from bad guys and righting injustices! How did I not already know about this awesome. Oh, wait, I don't watch tv much. Chat is awesome though! ♥

Hello, and welcome to my first Dreamwidth entry! As you might not be able to guess from the Furret icon, I am a Pokemon fan. :D

I gave up this game aaaages ago, for RL reasons of depression and lack of energy. There was much depressing stuff, and some health things which I am still slowly working my way through (ick) and I. Well, stopped being happy. Then! I started feeling better, and getting back into things, and I saw the newest Pokemon games come out and thought, why not. I will give this a try!

I don't know why I ever gave this up. I have not been this high off of a fandom in forever, and I didn't even know how much I missed it. ♥ They have improved these games so much since the first ones, but the biggest thing that got me going is how, in HeartGold and SoulSilver, you can have any Pokemon you like following you around.

And talk to it. And watch its mood change. And see it starting to luv you! XD Really, you start off with messages like " *name* is looking down steadily" and " *name* is looking around restlessly" to " *name* is very happy!" and all the way up to " *name* is gazing at you with adoration!"

Fluff! My Furret, Fluff, totally adores me. She also occasionally gets rosy cheeks when I talk to her, and gives me messages that are supposed to belong to another Type, I've been told. I think it's just because I've maxed out her happiness. ♥

Although, it is not always sunshine and peaches. Sometimes they misbehave, and eat garbage (if it's got anything in it's mouth in a building, take it away!) and poke your Bag which has all your important stuff in. You have to decide whether or not to tell them off, and sometimes what looks like misbehaving is just being overexcited. Although it is pretty hard to mistake attempted eating of your shoes (while wearing them) for anything but badness, I Am Looking At You, Rapdiash!

I don't know what's wrong with that Rapdiash... except maybe me making it walk through puddles when it is a Fire-type. I meant well, all the other Pokemon liked the puddles! XD

And I have become completely distracted from the dental appointment I have to leave for soon, so that is good! It's just a cleaning, but any dentist visit = me feeling vaguely panicky. Stupid sensitive teeth.

Lesse, other things I like: music in general, I will listen to anything at least once. Ronin Warriors/Samurai Troopers, an old anime I will have to make a post for. Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts (I cannot even get started on that because I need to leave!)

In fact I really should stop now. ^^; But I shall return! Sometime. >>

It has been waaay too long since my last update, yes? Yes. >>

Pokemon is still eating my brain. Cut to spare those who perhaps do not want to read Pokemon squee )

I never did get my copy of Final Fantasy Dissidia, and had to contact Amazon about it when the seller pretty much ignored me. x.x Yesterday, though, I went to Game Stop after the zoo and got a copy, so! As soon as I get a few other things done, and I tear myself away from Pokemon (or get them to an easy leveling spot - yes, there is level grinding in Pokemon, and the Gyms are sort-of dungeons) I'll be starting that. There may be another update later on!

Oh, the zoo. The zoo was wonderful as usual. I took a few pictures, I may upload if any of them turned out alright. We have penguins now! They seemed really curious. A few of them were doing nothing but swimming near the glass staring at the people. The most interesting thing, however, was the monkey that got loose while I was on the train.

Yep. Escaped monkey. XD It looked like it was having fun! They had to shut down the apes exhibit and the train, and nobody got to see those by the time I left. They were still trying to catch it.
