Vacation Time Get!

spokeIt has been waaay too long since my last update, yes? Yes. >>
Pokemon is still eating my brain. Although really, who doesn't like squee? ;p
Most recently I finished the Radio Tower battle with Teamco-dependent insecure idiots Rocket. Seriously, guys? You're capable of mostly taking over the biggest city in your region, but only to whine for Giovanni to come back? No wonder a single determined teenager can kick all your butts. :P
..have I mentioned I love the new feature of having your Pokemon walk with you? Because, um. ♥ Behold, Fluff the wonder Furret! Who gazes at me with adoration, and all sorts of other adorable messages revolving around the fact that I am the most wonderful Trainer evar. She dances if I take her into the Kimono Girls' place! Seriously, there's a lot of little swirling about and then the message "Fluff danced a wonderful dance!"
Although it's not all peaches and sunshine, because they have bad moods sometimes and it is possible to make them really angry - do not take your Fire-types walking by the sea or through puddles! Seriously, so much hate. XD And I like the little discipline questions: 'name' is poking at your Bag - do you scold it? Yes. Yes you do scold it or the problem only gets worse. >> Same with chewing on your shoes, but really wth Rapidash. wth. Nothing I do makes that Rapidash happy. :/
Lesse, what else... I am finally getting Trainer rematches! Stopping by for one on Route 34 while I make my Apricorn run. And my Pokemon have Pokerus! Which actually scared me a bit when I found out. Something's wrong with my precious Fluff that evenNurse Joy the Pokemon Center can't fix?! D: ...it turns out medical science is not that advanced in the Poke-world, or maybe they just don't know what words mean.
It's a symbiote. A wonderful little symbiote that boosts your gains from leveling! And you keep that bonus even after they recover. Plus once you've got it you can infect your other Pokemon as long as you keep an active carrier around. ♥
Oh. I hate the Safari Zone. It's just... aggravating to me. I'm good at capturing Pokemon, I have my technique down and everything. And then I get into the Safari Zone and all of that means nothing, because you can't attack the bloody Pokemon. The Marril were mocking me, man. I got one, though! Also a Clefairy and a Jigglypuff!
I'm never going back, though.At least not until the frustration wears off.
I never did get my copy of Final Fantasy Dissidia, and had to contact Amazon about it when the seller pretty much ignored me. x.x Yesterday, though, I went to Game Stop after the zoo and got a copy, so! As soon as I get a few other things done, and I tear myself away from Pokemon (or get them to an easy leveling spot - yes, there is level grinding in Pokemon, and the Gyms are sort-of dungeons) I'll be starting that. There may be another update later on!
Oh, the zoo. The zoo was wonderful as usual. I took a few pictures, I may upload if any of them turned out alright. We have penguins now! They seemed really curious. A few of them were doing nothing but swimming near the glass staring at the people. The most interesting thing, however, was the monkey that got loose while I was on the train.
Yep. Escaped monkey. XD It looked like it was having fun! They had to shut down the apes exhibit and the train, and nobody got to see those by the time I left. They were still trying to catch it.
