spokewith a character who wasn't there watching over your shoulder.
Absolute refusal to comment on the first duel between Yugi and Pegasus. Flickerings of thought that seemed to go along the lines of not wanting to root for Yugi competeting with sympathy for Grandpa. Because of the whole having-one's-soul-locked-in-a-card thing. <<;;
Oh, and the eye-rolling at Joey and Serenity, and general contempt that it's taken him so long to actually do anything for his little sister. Which is more than a little unfair, there, but Seto would of course have acted sooner. << And not in such a way as to make himself look like an idiot.
Example: Joey drooling over prize money while Yugi is angsting over Grandpa, so that Yugi goes all :(
Seto: *sneer* Isn't supposed to be his friend? Shouldn't he be patting the little shrimp on the back and telling him it's all going to be okay about now?
And then, they get on the boat. This brings in an angle I hadn't remotely considered. Namely, well... this is the pausing to deal with temporary crisis moment. o.o;;
Seto: O.O Pegasus? Let him into the tournament?! ... >:o >.< Why?!
Pegasus: Because Yugi-boy wouldn't have gone without him, of course. >:) And then there's the pleasure of making them fight each other later on. *musing*
Seto: o.o! *backing away*
*not so much as to make it look like he's running or anything though* What are you doing here? >:/
Pegasus: Enjoying the show, silly boy. *observing his expression* ...Kaiba-boy, you're not jealous are you?
Seto: >:O What?!
Pegasus: You are! How precious - poor Seto is jealous of little Joey getting handed things he has to work for! *laughing*
And you know, the nearly trying to kill Pegasus... except I had to point out that physical contact was just too likely to go places Seto wouldn't want. <<; I think.
He says.
I need to keep reminding myself he is a little liar, too. *cough*
*forces Pegasus to shut-up and be one with the background scenery, or leave*
And then Tea and Tristan succeeding in sneaking on, where Joey blew it. Which caused at least a tiny grin, seeing as his friends are more competent at sneaking than he is. ^^;
And Mai. I forgot about Mai playing poor dumb Rex like a fiddle. ^_^
Seto: Who cares what she did to that idiot - I want to know what happened to her, that she had Wheeler pegged from the beginning and yet ended up.. one of them. *is worried that this may eventually prove contagious*
Why he should worry, I don't know. I mean if anyone is immune.. ^^;;
But then the Happy Moment! The learning of how Yugi lost Exodia!
Seto: O.O *cannot. believe. his eyes.* It can't be - he ... nobody is that stupid!
*makes me rewind* >:D He did! He gave them to the slimy little bug! XD *laughing his ass off, occasionally pausing to gasp things like - *
'Wheeler! Drowning!' XD
and 'Listening to cards XD better than this!'
At this point, ya know, I figured he'd had enough for one run.^^;;
