Now if only I didn't have laundry to do.
Scatterbrained and a little shaky all night, despite which I wrote something which was the longest I'd stopped and wrote at one thing for a bit. Stamina is good, sticking to things instead of bouncing about from one shiny idea to another.
The problem being, when there is any chance of sustaining anything, there are always myriad shiny distracting thoughts that come-with... dolphins trying to play with orca, all bright flashy jumping and yes I see the shining smiling bright children, all laughter and playing.
I also see the black-and-white, massive sucker behind you and would appreciate if you stopped with the laughing playing Distraction! >:P

...still, a couple of shiny distraction thoughts that I do want to share.
It occured to me that I don't think Shuten ever says his name, during the second series. He responds to Shutendoji, but what else are they going to call him? 'Hey you with the shakujo!' ?
...in some warped reality wherein Vernon Dursley went to Hogwarts, he'd have been Hufflepuff, wouldn't he? Disturbing bitey little sucker, that thought.
