spoke: spider with a pen on a book (Listen to meeee!)
Here's something I meant to mention at the time and hadn't gotten to yet. Library trip this past Monday. I have :

The Picture of Dorian Gray- 'A Norton Critical Edition' with footnotes and both versions that were published, and a batch of newspaper articles and things that are supposed to help put it in historical context? But they're at the end so I haven't gotten to them yet. ...But, but *.* ! Shiny book! Must have copy of my own, for me, yes I must! ...also, why does my subconscious keep trying to use Seiji as a model for Dorian? <<;;

I've just gotten to Dorian realizing he should hide the picture? So far, I think Basil needs hugs and Dorian needs a sharp blow to the head to see if anything gets knocked back into place, and Henry... ... ... I have a feeling nothing can really help Henry. So he can just have another cigarette. XD

Also: Alfred Lord Tennyson: Idylls Of The King And A Selection Of Poems

Elizabeth Barrett Browning: Sonnets From The Portuguse And Other Love Poems

Maxine Hong Kingston: The Woman Warrior - Which is actually an autobiography, written in 1975, by a Chinese-American woman who grew up in California? Should be interesting...

What Life Was Like : In The Land Of The Dragon : Imperial China AD 960-1368 Another coffee table size book, with interesting illustrations. I keep seeing these in the library, for a lot of different places/times? I'm probably going to end up checking them all out sooner or later?

Because my secret plan is to know where I'm going once I have a time machine? ^^;;
