I'm baaack!

And lookit, all in one piece!

x.x So visiting Mom got moved back to today? And the actual visit went okay? Because, you know, we avoided the subject of me entirely and talked about the Sis's kids and Larry (the little brother) doing construction work instead.

Oh, and I told her all about the kitten (currently attacking my shoes). ^^

Getting there and back, though. omg. o.o;;;

Left house at 6:30, roughly. Got horribly lost, necessitating several stops to turn around and get back on one road or another, and two stops for directions, because Larry does not have my problem with asking. ^^;; Although he was kind of tense when we had to circle past the downtown police station. << Arrived at 8:50-ish.

Chat, catch up, hear military jokes/stuff when the husband of our friend Christy shows up. <<; General fun talk, with me ignoring them when he shows up in favor of reading OotP.

Left house at 10:30. Arrived home um... a few minutes ago? A little before 12, I think and it's 12:08 as I'm typing.

We thought it would be easier getting home, really we did. Unfortunately, we turned the wrong way on Atlantic, and found out that this road actually ends somewhere. Instead of just stopping at an intersection where the name changes. It was too dark to tell if the little street had actual cobblestone or something else that looked like it, but it was a tiny upperclass neighborhood. Of course, we couldn't appreciate the pretty because we were too busy with 'wtf?!' and 'What happened to Atlantic?' and 'Aww, crap, did I make a wrong turn didn't I?' 'No, no way'

5 minutes later, from the Little Brother: 'Okay, I get it now... We were headed the wrong way.' pause 'So, you know. Keep going straight.' pause. 'You want something to eat?'

But! Eventually we did make it home. *hugs and pets the kitten while not sharing her Taco Bell which would not be good for tiny kitty tummies*
