Much yelling at the tv screen for stupidity. No, seriously, some of it was that bad. And I believe I've mentioned this before, but I'm ready for Ancient Egypt already!!! *consoles self with manga whose next installment won't come until December... *Okay, clearly the people who came up with this arc need to die. >:P
However. Joey achieve an Immortal Line. >> In referance to the Kaiba brothers, and the Blue Eyes White Dragons he was seeing everywhere- "We're not dealing with normal people, here."
I died laughing, possibly because every muse in my head is laughing, possibly because no one on this show or even in the manga remotely qualifies for normal. XD Well, maybe Honda and Anzu. Maybe. Except they do hang out with the gaming freaks and the pyschopaths, so I'm not really sure their relative normalcy counts.
However. ( Shaman King just killed me. )
It occurs to me, typing that, there's something in Yu-Gi-Oh that does this too - only that connection is... a wilder energy, more coiled diefiance and pride and when it comes down to afight game, chaos. Insanity, is what.
Where Shaman King is peace, in the end. This sort of calm pride, the Zen of a hero who is the hero because he is the one who accepts everybody. Without trying to change them, only lending his hand when he thinks someone needs it.
( Song meme! Or, 'Clearly VH1 is staffed by idiots' )
