NaNo count! 8,411 and the first time I've been on target instead of behind. Why is it so easy to goof off during NaNo?!

...meanwhile, Yuletide lurks, with an assignment waiting to cause extra panic when the idea hits me. Why I signed up for that and NaNo, I do not know.
