spokeIn taking all of the VHS tapes out of my old video cabinet, I discovered an interesting thing. The broken door? Totally repairable.
So I did.
*dances* I fixed something! Me! With my own little tools! And yes, I am utterly dorkily pleased with myself! ^__^
Now I feel silly for griping about the thing, of course. But I can live with the scratches and such - wood polish maybe? I just couldn't stand that door any longer. ^^;
Psst - I'm sorry, I can't read Memory right now. Or Bujold-anything. I should not have said that I would. It's not that I don't want to or I wouldn't enjoy, just that I need to be reading what I want right now, especially those things that encourage me to write. And as much as I like the Vorkosigan-stuff? there's something about those books that really seems to keep me from writing - I can't think about anything else while I'm reading, not without seriously fighting for it. x.x
Finally finished reading Dante's Inferno - I need to find copies of the rest of the Comedy, but I want to find them by the same translator.
I need to make a to-do list, really, but at least I got my laundry done, and a brownie made, and assorted bits of cleaning. Despite waking up late. :p
Saw the moon in the daylight when I came out of work, yesterday. Only I didn't have my camera with me. So I'll be taking that in to work, today, in hopes of catching it this time around.
And now, I shall run about getting ready for work! Hopefully this brownie is cooled enough to take a piece with me. >.>
