Okay. Trying to stop myself from utter panic in my attempt at vacation planning. Although the fact that I have no idea what I'm doing (!!!) does not help with this.
And so I have a question, in hopes that someone more experianced with traveling can answer it (or maybe throw a pillow at me for being blinded by my own panic, which is entirely possible).
Which of these two things should happen first: Buying plane tickets or applying for my days off at work?
Also do I just go and look for a hotel after I get there, or arrange that beforehand, or what?
Because all the "Wheeee! Vacation!" kind of sputtered and hid once I started trying to plan. Though it keeps peeking out as long as I'm not thinking about useful details of planning. -.-
Oh! And plane tickets... buy them online or go talk to someone at the airport?

Date: 2006-03-08 12:41 am (UTC)And I've been reading that! In bits and pieces, and trying to decide where I'm going and whatnot. Only there are two things I want to do that are fairly far apart and I'm having troubling deciding do I really want to go on what looks like a maybe 7 hour drive. Well, I mean, I want to, but do I think I can do this and not get lost? >.>;;;
And what about car rental, ahhhh! x.x I should look at the book and see if it mentions that.... *scoots off after book*
