I. Cannot say enough about how much I love FF12. But I can babble insanely in an attempt to do so, which I will at least spoiler cut. You know, on the general principle that since I will strangle anyone who spoils me for this, I shouldn't go tempting anyone to strangle me. :P

And I haven't even gotten anywhere yet, and I'm just going insane from how much it reminds me of FF6 somehow. (The one that used to be called FF3? Such that I wish to type in "III" every time I refer to it?) Seriously, when the lady in Dalan's shop called the various stones 'magicite' I actually squealed. Happy bouncy squeal. :D

This in spite of the fact that Consul Vayne is clearly an evil Laguna (at least I think he's evil. clumsy charm and earnestness do exclude one from being evil) and Vaan? And his little hand motion that is exactly like Squall's summons thing? *twitch* Every time I make him do that. Stoppit! :P

I still keep exepcting to see Cyan any minute, or Shadow lurking about, or or - who knows! And why'd Peneloe go and leave the party! She was better than Vaan. Seriously.

And eeeee, must restrain myself and make sure Vaan's fully equipped before going to kidnap Consul Vayne break into the treasury. Really. He needs to be equipped and maybe another level, I purely hate dying when I know it's my fault. ...like walking up to the Saurian out in the Estersand and kicking it to see what would happen?

Not that this isn't a habit of mine, in all Final Fantasy I've ever played. "Oh look! It is a monster far beyond my meager abilities to handle - CHARGE! >:D"

...okay, yup, Vaan's been kicking his heels in the magic shop long enough. ^^;;

Do NOT play with the cute lizard in the desert until you're ready! He *will* mess you up and take your lunch money! Hey, come to think of it--there's mention of 'magicite' in the Story Mode of Chocobo Racing! I'd wondered where they'd gotten it from!...how had I MISSED the Laguna-ness? bad, bad me! (well, we *are* still trying to get the hang of the Licenses and Gambits and...have I mentioned I like the giant froggies, too?^^ It's just like training Pokemon, man--level *past* where you think you'll need to be (I am re-learning this dealing with Yellow--they really *did* make aspects of the later games easier!)
