Still rather nervous about going to this college Open House thing. Although I had myself all convinced it was going to be interesting and educational and even if it doesn't go well, I'll have tried something new! Then I got off work and realized that when next I wake, it'll be time to get up and get ready. gahhorrordoom. Doom, I say.
Yet I'm still a lot calmer than I was? Because nothing is happening right this minute, I still have time and options to explore in that time, and even though I hate change and tend to becoming a nervous wreck in the face of it? Slow change is better than sudden. I just got my directions off Mapquest, and it's only a 14 minute drive, so that's not bad. Leaving 30 minutes beforehand to cover traffic and finding my way around the building, though.
Meanwhile my driver's side rear-view mirror showed up. I've been checking the front doorstep for this thing for a couple of days. Now it's a matter of either getting my sister's guy on the phone, or cracking and just taking it to the Pepboys to have them install it for me.
Any takers on my cracking? ;p
...I so should be getting in bed already. Time to gather up the trash to be dumped and hurry off to hopefully rest in spite of nerves. Wish me luck? I'll need it.
